The shadows of dozens of Skarmories and Fearows crawl across broken concrete streets. Clouds of smoke, the billow of curtains through broken glassed windows, and the sound of footsteps from captured citizens marching underground; that is the scene you can see from your bed bunk. On the 2nd floor of the Saint Stella’s Trainer School are the classrooms that have been converted into makeshift jail cells for the children captured and brought there. The whole school was refitted and turned into a science facility almost immediately after Team Unown invaded and took over Whitewater Town. You, along with almost every other kid in town, were brought to the facility and tattooed with a five digit number. During the day you’ve been left in the classrooms where bunk beds have been set up, but during the night you’re either taken into the lab to receive injections or out into the yard to be trained. What these injections do isn’t clear, but several kids have experienced symptoms from the shots, such as dizziness, fever, and rashes. Others have developed strange abilities, like being to heal people by touch, or read other people’s thoughts. Despite these abilities, no one as of yet has been able to escape the lab. These special abilities are unpredictable or not very useful. To make matters worse, Professor Sy also keeps a special eye on all his experiments, making escape even more difficult. Professor Sy is the lead researcher there and makes the decisions for the all the prisoners/subjects. You’re not sure what Professor Sy’s experiments are for, but the strange thing is that he allows all of you to have Pokemon. He only allows each child to have one love level Pokemon. The professor, taking the extra step to stop anyone from using their Pokemon against him, fitted each Mon with a band that prevents them from raising their levels. Anyone who had Pokemon before the raid was allowed to keep one of them. Those without Pokemon were given one of the monsters created by the organization. Over the past two weeks you’ve captured you’ve been forced to battle with your Pokemon against others. You’ve seen some kids been taken away from the rest to focus on controlling their powers. Others still it seems Sy is more interested in as he trains them personally. The going rumor is that Team Unown is trying to raise an army. The other rumor going around is that they’re going to ship all of you away from Whitewater Town forever to some unknown land for more intense training. Nobody sure if the rumors are true or not, but regardless, escape is a must.

Objectives: 1. Escape Professor Sy’s laboratory. 2. Survive in the destroyed town without getting caught. 3. Free the captured adults from the underground. 4. Defeat Team Unown and save the town. *Since I don’t know how long this will last or how long every roleplayer will be around for, for this first installment we’ll focus solely on the first objective. When the first objective is achieved for all players I will created another thread for Objective 2 in which old players can either continue or quit, and we can get some new players in as well.

Your main character should ideally be between 5 - 19 years of age. If you want to play multiple characters, including adult characters, feel free to at any time (just don’t play characters other people have created unless you have their permission). Human powers should be minimal and with restrictions. For instance, a healing power would only be able to heal a little HP and would make the user tired afterwards, or a telepathic ability would only allow the user to hear what people are thinking currently but they can’t control when it happens (dice rolls would be used to determine this). Your character doesn’t have to have a special ability, which would give you a benefit as your character would be less monitored and Team Unown would ignore you more often. If you want your character can be working with the villains later on (be aware though, your character may be kicked out of Team Unown if they don’t do a good job). Additionally, as some people have trouble making characters, I have included five characters that people can claim and play as if they so wish. As we start out I will play any and all characters that aren’t picked until someone claims them in which then I will relinquish control. Playing a premade character is totally optional, feel free to make your own character.

There are two types of Pokemon in this game: normals and mutants. Normals are any regular Pokemon from the game. You can have as many of them as you want (but remember you can only carry six Pokemon with you at any one time). No ledgies unless I approve of them. Only 1st and 2nd Generation Pokemon can be used as this takes place in Johto (Gen 2 universe) Mutants are Pokemon modified by the lab. You can create your own mutant Pokemon or find one off the web (though I recommend that you credit the original creator). Everyone only gets one mutant creature. You can have them as your starter or get one later in the game. Any mutant Pokemon have to be approved by me to make sure they're not overpowered. Mutant creatures can be fusions of two Pokemon (but no more than two), a retyping of an existing Pokemon, an unreleased beta Pokemon, or some new take on an existing Pokemon. Simple recolours do not count. Only mutated versions of 1st and 2nd Generation Pokemon can be used.

1. Normal forum rules. No cussing, excessive violence, sexual content, spaming, flaming, etc, etc. 2. No godmoding, including making overpowered Pokemon, helpful coincidences, or easy escapes. If you win, it has to be earned, if you escape it has to be earned. 3. Double posting is allowed only after 12 hours have past and no one else has posted. 4. Don't control other people's characters. 5. If you don't respond after a week I'll take over your character temporarily (if you want to leave the RP let me know. If real life is in the way but you still want to play let me know and I'll put your character in limbo. I'll return control of the character if and when you come back.) 6. Related to the previous rule, keep grammar neat and use proper spacing throughout the entire rp. I don't want walls of text of stuff I can't read. 7. This is a free roleplay so I'm not expecting huge paragraphs or anything really descriptive but please refrain from one sentence posts if you can. 8. You don't have to get your character approved by me to start posting but remember the rules. Your character should not be overpowered or inappropriate; follow all the rules of the RP when making your character.
