She wondered if her stories were believed. Entertaining children had never been high on her list of priorities, but she was tasked with this and wanted to impress. "So...any questions?" Immediately, hands shot up and voices rang out. It drove her up a wall, like nails on a chalkboard. She held up her hands. "Whoa, hold it! One at a time and I'll call on you." The children put their hands away and were silent. Faith had to admit, that power felt good. Maybe she could have been a teacher? No, fuck that. She still hated kids. She just tolerated them a bit more now after death. "Ok, now. Questions?" The kids raised their hands again and Faith pointed at one of them. "Did you have to kill any living person?" Faith was taken a bit aback by the question and the ease at which a child asked about killing, but let it slide. These had to be no normal children. "I did. In my life, it was often killing others before they killed you." "But what if they were friendly!" One child asked without being called on. Faith let it slide. "Some found it easy to befriend others and form teams and communities, others were out for themselves. I found it easy to trust myself only. It was easy to betray someone if you got close to them." Words of wisdom with Faith was so far, in her mind, a success. She hoped Evelina watching, or at least, knew how well she was doing.
