This one appeared to sting a bit, as Amelia's expression was upset for a brief second before returning to normal as she shook her head in a silent response. Interesting. Zabella felt sad for her despite Amelia's initial reaction. Perhaps her family abandoned her or did nothing to help her from what she went through. Zabella shifted in her seat and finished off her blood pop then shut her book. "Is there anything you miss about being human?" she asked. Again, Amelia shook her head, but this time she actually spoke afterwards. "Never got... To be treated like a human." she said. Zabella watched her closely for a moment more. Clearly there was more than one terrible backstory in this school and Amelia was younger than any of them, yet she seemed to have a better outlook, a desire to move on and embrace what she was. "So do you like to read? Or anything else?" Zabella asked. She didn't enjoy reading but only because she didn't know how and it was extremely difficult to learn. Sitting in class she always felt stupid, especially if she was called on for certain things. It was an awful feeling but isolation was something she had learned to embrace. "Still learning." Amelia said, looking away in embarrassment. Like Zabella, she was still learning the basics of all subjects so she felt like an idiot when surrounded by so many who did understand what they were learning. This made Zabella smile, a real smile and she didn't feel insecure about her misgivings either. She reached out and rested a hand on the girl's arm. "That's okay, so am I," she attempted to reassure her. "If you ever want to study together... we could meet up here once or twice a week." It was a big step and something very out of her comfort zone but she was willing to with Amelia. Friends were hard to come by but Zabella felt a certain connection here and it wasn't something she wanted to ignore this time, especially in this place.

Daniil Sim

[@Jollan]
Daniil nodded and finished up his food. All the wolves would have that same release now from the full moon and the lack of being able to turn. Although it was a painful process it was enjoyable when in wolf form. There was a freedom there and release from the confines of being human. Daniil didn't hate being a wolf completely but it hadn't always been easy. For one thing, he missed his real family all the time. They knew he was still alive but beyond that they had no idea what he was or what his life now entailed. His new family, his pack, was good and they filled a portion of the void but his human life was one he would never be able to return to. Everything he did was a poor comparison to what he used to have. "About a year," he informed his companion. "Some things become easier after that one year mark, but not everything. What about you?" he asked.
