The history is giving me trouble, since I rewrote it at least twice. But I'm putting it up now.
Name: Cassandra La Cassidin Title(s): Queen of the Phoenix Gender: Female Age: 23 Alignment: Neutral Good Rank: Festival Objective for the Grail: Cassandra's goal is actually to quit magecraft and open a bird store. Het dream in general is simply to have the grail invent a new kind of bird, that can make her new store famous. Command Seal: Command Seal Personality: A cool mind, relaxed by a great deal of time and study. There is little to Cassandra's life beyond a strict regiment. In truth, one could argue that a strict regiment is the only way she can live life. Some would even suggest she suffered from autism, as any attempts to break her well organized life can make her not only uncomfortable, but incredibly unhappy. Her structured life often means she spends little time with others, and can come off as completely hopeless in a social situation. Thankfully, if she can plan ahead for a meeting, it tends to go a lot smoother. Except, while she lives a structured life she is not without interests. She reads. A fair deal actually. The library she keeps isn't just for show, since it is a manifestation of all her knowledge. She has read every book she owns, and keeps them all well cleaned as a result. Meticulous upkeep is Cassandra's way of life. Bio: A life in the confines of the La Cassidin estate isn't much of a life. A french family who found themselves studying the art of golemcraft, they always sought to go one step closer. With each member of the family creating their own unique creature. A golem that represented who they are at the core. Maybe that's the problem with Cassandra. She is nothing like a phoenix. Despite how she commands one so easily. As a child, Cassandra was rather quiet. Before that she was loud, spoke her mind, but that didn't last long. People treated her poorly. She had no friends, and soon found that silence was preferred from her. She found comfort in her books, even while her father and mother obsessed over trying to make her... Normal. But she wasn't normal. She was self involved, and preferred and order. In truth, she could very well have been labeled as being on the autism spectrum, due to her difficulties with emotion and society. At a young age, she was finally moved to the Clocktower. There, she found a calling. A calling of studying and research. She made few friends, and found that the world did not find interest in the same things she did. Things like beasts, and fire. Now, she didn't seek freedom in the sense of exploring the world, but rather in finding her passion. That is why, when she was 15,she left the Clocktower. Despite her love for a structured life, she wanted to see if she could be a phoenix. She has spent the years since then traveling. Getting involved in the affairs of the clocktower almost by accident. She was not the first pick for this war. But she was high enough on the list that sending a letter all the way to Africa was worth the effort. --- Number of Magic Circuits: B Quality of Magic Circuits: B --- Elemental Affinity: Fire, Air Magecraft: Basic Magecraft - Cassandra is a fairly average magus in the concepts of magecraft. Common Alchemy, curses, construction of a workshop and various other materials. She's fairly average at it, and nothing really stands out. Except, for her unique familiars. Familiars/Golemcraft - Utilizing both the basics of familiar craft, and that of golemcraft, a completely unique kind of familiar has been created. A conceptual familiar, that is a phoenix. The Phoenix is designed like that of golem. Utilizing the same concept of creation, but developing a unique contract of the kind one makes for familiars. A special kind of contract that connects both creator and familiar completely. To an extent where the phoenix can be called an extension of Cassandra's will and body. The phoenix is a bird of fire. If destroyed, it will rebuild itself from its own remains, again and again. As long as its creator lives, the phoenix survives. The bird itself is the embodiment of fire, and thus fire magic is channeled through its presence. Such thing as balls of fire, or waves of heat manifest through it. With this familiar, Cassandra has expanded beyond traditional golem and familiar craft. Should she call on it to do so, the phoenix can self destruct, and Cassandra will be forced to remake it from the ground up. Crest: 6 Generations Weapon: The phoenix is Cassandra's main weapon and catalyst. There is nothing more powerful in her arsenal than that of the phoenix. She carries the parts for lesser golems and familiars to be constructed as well.
