Finally! Mallus' brother is finally finished! This too took a really long time to complete but I like it! He towers over most at a height of 7' feet, however this makeshim slightly shorter than his brother Mallus (7'4”). He has clean skin, messy dark-red hair, and dark brown eyes. Underneath his armor, he supports an impressive physique, but sports several scars on his chest from battles prior to joining heaven. Faction: Heaven Personality: Compared to his older brother Mallus, Ferrus is the more lively one of the duo. Unlike his brother, Ferrus is much more friendly to his fellow companions and often likes to hang out with them in times of peace. He is much more outgoing and confident about himself, yet shows himself as rather humble, admitting that he can always learn a trick or two from his superiors. Of course, while he can accept most missions, he does often question some of them depending on what goals need to be accomplished. His humility also shows when he discusses about humanity, for while he does believe that they have flaws they must overcome, they are still to be respected. He even swore to never turn his blade on an innocent woman or child. He believes in the best of people, often looking at a situation with an optimistic outlook and will do anything to help the innocent from far. While he loves his brother for all the time they spent together, even he doesn't agree to some of Mallus' outlook, especially with his view regarding humanity. However, he does feel guilty that he feels like he's being more of a burden to Mallus, especially after his "death" in Mesopotamia, and it upsets him greatly. Regardless, he still likes to spend time with Mallus and tries to visit him frequently on his off days, just to make it all up to him. Bio: Mallus and Ferrus' were brothers born to the same mother around the time of early Mesopotamia, in a small village by the Euphrates river. While the identity of their father remains unknown, many suspect that it came from an Angel Primarch (also known as archangels), and point to Micheal and Gabriel as the culprits. Furthermore their mother was a religious figure and prayed daily to the gods, which could have a connection with the divine. From the minute the twins were born they had a special aura to them, one that cements them in greatness in the future. Just mere hours after they were born, the mother's village was suddenly attacked by a rival clan and she was forced to flee. However, she could only take one son with her and was forced to sacrifice her second born son. Unfortunately for her, both babies looked exactly the same and she couldn't identify who was who in the midst of her panic. Forcing to pick one, she found a basket and placed one of the babies inside and set him afloat on the Euphrates river, hoping someone will find and take care of him while she took her other son with her. That baby she took with her... was Ferrus. Ferrus and her mother were able to escape the destruction of their own village as they migrated up the Euphrates in search for a new home. Thanks to a kind Ox-man who happened to be riding in the area, he took them aboard as they set off to his destination of the city-state, Uruk. The mother and son instantly made their home within the outskirts of the city, having a small hut by the river. While they lived on farming for crops and making food to serve at the local market place, Ferrus became inspired by the soldiers that patrolled the city, as well as stories about certain warriors becoming great heroes for their town. His mother soon began to realize the potential of her son, with his glowing aura and fiery persona of ambition to become something great. When he was of age, Ferrus' mother agreed to send her son into the army on his request. While she didn't like to see her son go into war, she nonetheless wanted the best for her son. And if he wanted to be a soldier so be it. Ferrus proved time and time again that his skills in combat were unparalleled over the years that he served in the army, with one general stating that his tenacity 'burned as hot as a thousand sons' and 'his prowess in combat was the best in the general's entire force'. With such skill and power, Ferrus was responsible for many victories and the masses were praising him. Eventually, the generals became so envisioned in Ferrus' capabilities that they wanted to promote him under the guiding force of their king, despite his humility stating that they shouldn't. Regardless, they took him to the king's throne room, where he would unknowingly first set eyes on his brother, Mallus. The king declared that he would grant Ferrus the title of general if he wins in a duel against him. Never being the person to back down from a deed, Ferrus reluctantly took the offer as the two clashed swords in an epic battle within the throne room. The battle was fierce on both sides, with the fiery passion of the warrior almost winning against the King, and served as a nearly equal match to him. However, whether it be his humility or of exhaustion, Ferrus was defeated in a close match. Some believed that Ferrus could've beaten Mallus if he didn't tire out late into the fight, with some critics stating a certain opening of his flank which caused his downfall. Nevertheless, the match was settled, yet Mallus was impressed with what he has witnessed and admitted that he had an extreme pleasure in partaking in the duel. So he made Ferrus a general of his army, yet not only did he do this, but also declared him as his "brother". Ferrus was taken much aback by the king's praise but accepted the titles regardless. Thus began their incredible and nearly inseparable bond towards one another, having partook in various quests and adventures against gods and demons alike. Within the years that followed, Ferrus grew more and more beloved by the general masses. Not only did he establish a loyal bond with the king, but also with the masses in general. When he isn't off going to battle, he often helped them in daily tasks such as farming, heavy lifting, shepherding and other menial tasks that he still took great pleasure in. He wanted to help the people like what many great heroes do and he desired nothing else in return, other then the satisfaction of brightening their days even further. He brought upon great respect by the people and they cherished his name in return. However, unknowingly to him, jealous King Mallus began to feel insecure over the fact that his people were praising Ferrus more than himself. Upon hearing rumors that threatened to compromise his rule over Uruk, he began to task his "brother" in going out and killing powerful monsters and demons alone. According to Mallus, he wanted to see how far he had come in his abilities and to 'sharpen his skills' upon more powerful foes in the case that the King was not around or even dead. Sounding like a reasonable case, and that he didn't mind a good fight, Ferrus agreed, unaware that these tasks were each mean't to kill him, or compromise his abilities to the point where'd he'll become useless. Yet he was able to kill every monster that he was sent to, which secretly infuriated the King to great ends. Then came that one fateful day, when Ferrus was sent to kill a massive golden dragon that had been terrorizing the local villages nearby. Having little to go off what or who this dragon was, the warrior went to the creature's lair in a volcano to the north. There he became witness to his target, as he approached the thunderously cackling golden dragon, who had three hideous heads and the ability to conjure a breath of lightning in each one. Ferrus fought against dragon with all the strength and skills he could muster, but alas the creature was simply too strong. With a whip of its massive tail, the champion fell down the crater of the volcano and into the boiling lava below. But just before he plunged into the magma below, he heard a thunderous bellow of another monster, followed by a massive charcoal-bodied monster who had jagged fins running down its body. And after taking one quick look, Ferrus found himself unconscious as he hit the burning liquid. His journey seemed to have ended there... Yet his fate would not end there, for the Gods didn't want him to die just then. They sent an Angel out to preserve Ferrus' body, allowing him to not only survive the scorching heat, but also to absorb it around him. He laid dormant within the volcano for roughly 2000 years before he awoke. And when he did, the world around him had changed. No longer did the volcano he laid in hold and lava and the surrounding area was conquered by a new Empire. The Romans. Confused and bewildered at the realization that his home and "brother" are now long dead, Ferrus was forced to join this new regime as a mere soldier and start his life again. During his time as a soldier, he finally found Mallus as a fellow soldier and attempted to reunite with him, hoping he would remember him. Unfortunately, Mallus' didn't believe that he was Ferrus, for he should've been dead for thousands of years, yet never having thought that Ferrus was a god-like being that he was. Eventually, he would desert the Roman Legionaries and head north to Norway, where he would remain in exile. Meanwhile, Ferrus stayed and discovered something remarkable. He realized that he can wield fire and manipulate it to his will. This definitely helped his army in beating back their enemies immensely and soon enough his popularity began to spike once again. Most of the public masses believed he was a vessel of their God of Fire, Vulcan, and set off to give him offerings in his name, both to himself and at the various temples situated around their Empire. He became the guiding light towards victory and was utterly beloved by many. But by the time the Roman Empire began to decline, Ferrus was once again getting sick of the treatment he received, not believing he was anything too special even with his newfound powers. So he too left the army and exiled himself to the northeast, where he would settle in what would be Russia, away from the crowded cities and from attention in general. There he began to train in his fire-wielding abilities to become more efficient with this power. Several centuries later, Ferrus would hear a voice from Heaven, calling him to come to Heaven in where he will finally learn the truth about his origins and reunite with Mallus. When he saw his brother, Ferrus was overjoyed to see him for the third time in centuries, still wondering how he isn't dead. And that's when Heaven told them everything thanks to the guardian angels that were sent to observe the two in secret. Mallus and Ferrus were true biological sons, the former being the first born, and the one unwillingly sent down the Euphrates all those millennia ago while Ferrus received the attention of his biological mother and had more acknowledgement from the mortals and gods themselves. Ferrus began to feel absolute sorrow for his brother, in which he felt like he was a burden to him rather than a real brother, let alone a friend. He wanted to make it up to him, but Mallus was hesitant to this at first. Regardless, Heaven wanted to make up for their pain and suffering and allowed them to join Heaven while reunited as brothers, while supplying them both with divine weapons and armor. The Second Born immediately took up on the offer, soon followed by the First Born, now in service of Heaven as Grand Inquisitors of the order. Despite being at such a noble rank, Ferrus never forgot about the people he sworn to protect and he can still be seen at times helping those in need, no matter how big or small their deeds may be. At the same time, he still tries to be around his brother as a life debt that he must repay and while the initials reactions may be rather negative at first, Ferrus always finds a way to make things work.
