[b]Appearance:[/b] Beautiful long black hair, a body that would make any courtesan envious and a delicate face enough to melt any man's heart coupled with penetrating blue eyes, Kasumi can certainly be considered a 'beauty'. Her body, although delicate hide powerful muscles thanks to her incessant training since she was naught but a child. While on a mission, she either uses a set of armor while using bandages to hide her feminine curves. Often wearing revealing clothes to take advantage of the fact that she is a woman, Kasumi is almost a walking contradiction. Almost impossible to notice if she doesn't want to be noticed and hard to ignore if she wants to be noticed.

[*] Daikamaitachi: A single black tessen made of metal and black silk, especially treated to be fire resistant, it's shorter than a wakizashi's blade when closed. It's sharp, dagger like points and bladed edge are incredibly lethal, be it stabbing or cutting. It can be used in many different ways, be either deflecting even swords, arrows, using it closed for stabbing or blunt attacks against joints and other weak spots or open. She often uses it paired with a kunai. It's an heirloom from her old clan. Even without using it's enchantment, it's winds are able to deflect arrows or disorient enemies by raising dust from the ground or even with a sudden gust of wind. It's enchantment controls a powerful wind, making the user able to create a powerful wind blades cutting everything on it's path.

[*] Kaminari no tamashii: Second heirloom she was able to take from her clan before fleeing. This small amulet allows the user to move in short bursts of speed, becoming nothing but a blur. Due to the extreme speed, it's almost impossible to actually see the user making most thing it's some sort of short range teleportation magic. It can be used repeatedly, but it takes a heavy toll on the user's body. If used more than two times consecutively, it can cause the user to pass out or even cause death due to the heavy strain on the user's muscles, lungs and heart.

Born and raised to be a member of a special unit of ninjas working under the Tsubaki banner, Kasumi was raised to be a perfect Kunoichi. Unlike male ninjas, Kunoichis had a clear disadvantage in brute strength compared to them, causing the kunoichis to be perceived as inferior regarding combat compared to shinobis. But in reality, the very fact that they were females gave them certain advantages that when explored, could turn them in dangerous weapons. Kasumi's agility and dexterity made her entire clan realize how dangerous kunoichis could be. Being able to win even against male ninjas, who were considered physically superior due to their brute strength, her deceptive style of fighting, full of feints, redirecting attacks and even using the opponent's strength against itself proved to be simply perfect to be used with a tessen.

Unlike other male ninjas, Kasumi was much more fit to jobs of infiltration and silent assassination. Trained both in the art of seduction, being a perfect courtesan and assassination, how to kill a person using weapons wasn't the only thing she needed to train. Literature, dancing, singing, science, politics and studies about nature (even how make herbal medicine or how to turn a medicine into a poison) made her able to infiltrate herself in important events, easily passing herself by a wealthy woman of the court.

Unfortunately, a single Kunoichi, it doesn't matter how good she is, cannot save a clan that was doomed to fall. After the Tsubaki surrendered to the Lotus clan, her ninja unit was dissolved, gone without a trace. Without a master and without purpose, Kasumi began to wander through the lands, offering her services for money while searching for a suitable master.
