While it wasn't his favorite or the usual one he went to, it was the only pet-friendly coffee shop in the city. Seeing as he had the three pits with him and Juno in his cat form he thought of it as a good option. "I can go in and order, but I don't really want to take the dogs inside." The place wasn't really big, and three large pit bulls would take a lot of space. "Can you hold them while I order something?" He asked Price as she walked over to one of the tables set up outside. It seated four people and had a nice big umbrella that gave them shade. "They're trained, so you only have to tell them to sit, and they'll listen." Her hand scanned the shelves untils she felt a leather cover journal. The leather wasn't too think and the cover wasn't a handcover either. It was also quite thick so it had enough pages to last a while for Alekis. "I'll take this one and the book. How much would they be?" She tucked the book and the journal under her arm before pulling out her wallet from her bag.

Marcus
Location - City Streets Mentions - [@EchoicChamber] "I can still smell him," Marcus said as he wiped the saliva off the side of his face with his sleeve. The creature's tongue felt rough, like sandpaper, against his skin. He tried no to make a face, but he was high on hygiene and having something like that as a pet was not very clean. Especially one that could potentially swallow your whole hand like-- like it was right now. "Uh, Esperanza while I appreciate that Chu is a friendly... animal(?) I don't think the people of the city will appreciate seeing you with your arm in his mouth. I do think you'll find a nicer hotel if you hide him too, most hotels don't have a pet-friendly policy or charge extra for animals. Some double the prize if those animals are supernatural, so I would advice to keep him hidden while we search for your hotel." Marcus really didn't mind Chu, he seemed like a laid-back creature so far, but the people of the city might not see that. He didn't want to draw attention to them. "We'll go meet up with my sister and then start looking." Marcus didn't like leaving Aurora on her own, but she had insisted on going shopping for her book and Alekis' journal alone today. They had agreed to meet a few blocks away from the bookstore in the park. It wasn't too far away from here either, and Esperanza could get a small tour as they walked to the shop. Marcus took one last glance at Chu before motioning her to follow him down the street. They still had to go through a few warehouses to get back to the city, but the walk there wouldn't be a very long one.
