	Theresa generally tends to be a more quiet individual, choosing to stay back a little ways from everyone else, blending into crowds if she can. She doesn't want to be noticed if she can't help it, but sometimes when it comes to her knowledge, she gladly will bring it up, even though she prefers to stay by herself. She has a very creative way of thinking, constantly thinking of ways to improve on just about everything she works on. Not to mention the fact that it helps her write the stories she loves to work on in her spare time. She is very smart, having ended up in the same grade as her oldest sister when she was in high school. Theresa is very forthcoming with her knowledge when asked a question, despite tending to be a bit of a wall flower.

	Despite all of this, she is definitely what would be called an impatient person. She constantly is tapping her foot, waiting for the others to hurry up and finish their tasks. Not liking to wait, she will try her best to hurry things along to the best of her ability. Also, even though she tends to stay by herself a lot, Theresa is a very friendly individual who will happily spend time getting to know others. She is always the one who will give you a smile and a wave, saying nothing else though. Theresa is also what can only be described as stubborn. It is very difficult to make her move from a position she is set in, and this has been known to cause problems.

	Theresa had always felt like an outcast for most of her life, it didn't matter who she talked to, she was an outsider. There was no one who understood her, and even at her university, people mocked her for choosing to go into Electrical Engineering. When she realized that joining SHIELD was a viable option for her, she jumped at the chance to join, figuring that there were people there who would understand her better.

	Theresa is the youngest of 4 in her family back down in Jacksonville. Her 3 older sisters Jessica, Marcy and Laurel were definitely the more outgoing type, constantly doing things, always energetic and such. In comparison, she was more reserved, quiet, and people found her to be the sort of oddball in the family. She wasn't into sports, didn't care much about dating, unlike her sisters, but she was definitely the smartest of her siblings.

	Most people didn't realize just how her mind worked, not noticing that she could easily write papers on different sciences. It wasn't until she was in middle school did people start to realize just how smart she was, and it caused her to easily skip grades. Despite being the youngest child, she soon was taking the same courses as her oldest sister, much to her anger. They were jealous of her brain, constantly mocking her about how much she knew, and the way her mind worked. They weren't the only ones, being 13 and in high school, she was constantly pushed around and bullied, but she always found happiness in the Shop and science classes.

	She graduated the same year as Jessica, at the age of 14, much to her sisters' annoyance, and she easily was given a full scholarship to any university she chose. Knowing that she wanted to be an engineer of sorts, she decided to earn her PhD in Electrical Engineering, earning it by the time she turned 18. She turned her back away from her family, choosing to stay away from them. Her sisters had practically thrown her out anyway, so it didn't matter to her.

	Then she joined SHIELD, and she finally felt like there was a place she belonged. She had always been mocked for her brain, and how smart she was, but now she was surrounded by others who were like her, and it always made her smile to think about how much different her life was here.
