Cassandra La Cassidin
The Clocktower. She had promised herself not to return until she had become sure of who she was, and what she wanted out of life. If she stepped past the doorway into this building once more, it would mean her worldly travels had come to an end. Cassandra La Cassidin too a long breath. A deep breath that filled her lungs, and she stepped over the divide. For a moment, she felt nothing, and then... She pushed onward. She had been called all the way to this place for a reason. Her periods of time overseas had mad contacting her difficult, so the mere fact that she had been contacted at all was part of the reason she came here. If she was needed, she had to come. Or all that effort would have been wasted. Cassandra climbed the stairs, two at a time with her cloak billowing around. Billowing, and smacking the odd student in the face as they tried to walk past her. "Sorry about that," she said, pausing to help one of the students collect a book he had dropped. "Alchemy, huh?" She said, upon seeing the title. It was the same kind of book she had read when she attended the academy, and part of her had to admit it was indeed funny that teachers kept the same books the same. Despite how much magecraft was trying to advance. "I was never all that good at alchemy myself. Much better with golems and familiars." She smiled, and placed the book on top of the pile, and was away before the student could speak up. She had a place to be. The door to the office shut behind her, stepping inside with a smile. "I apologize if I was late. There was an accident in the stairway. And besides, I was all the way in Africa. Do you realize how hard it is to get here with only a three day heads up?" Nodding to the others, she adjusted her cape. "Pleasure to meet you all. I am Cassandra, and what is this all about?"
