I had an idea for a character who hates heroes with a passion.

Some random hero had a choice to save his/her lover/wife or my character's parents. The lover won.
Another rando hero for whatever reason failed to save my character's adoptive parents/aunt & uncle.

Hatred develops.

My character would develop into more of an anti-hero than an actual hero.
