So write your apps to your heart's content. The vetoing process of any details that seem off to the game's setting will only start once the OOC thread goes up and applications are put forth.
Yeah, I’ve been mulling over a lot of ideas – but all of them are pretty “ultimate”. Even as conventional as my Green Arrow and Spider-Man concepts are they still have that aspect of experimentation. Byrd keeps telling me to think outside of the box, but I’m still having trouble with that since my box is pretty broad as it is and every single time I’ve tried to try something new in these things I ended up scratching my head and going “uh uh uh” for five weeks instead of posting consistently like everyone else. I think my biggest handicap outside of the fear to repeat that process is that my expertise lies in legacy characters and staples I’d like someone else to try. There’s a lot of factors I’m thinking on with what I should write. Bekka as Wonder Woman (ala Gods & Monsters) keeps coming up as something I’m interested in, but I’m still worried about being stuck with her in a few posts.
[s]it means that there's a chance to steal wonder woman for ink[/s] joking, but nice to know that bit of information. :)
The whole Diana Prince as Captain America would not interfere with my idea in the slightest.
I don't want people to burn themselves out trying to write multiple stories at a time - I know how tempting that is, given I'd love to play about a dozen other heroes alongside Batman, but I also know how daunting that would be. I'd rather just stick with who I want most and give my all to that.
I know this feeling too well. I cannot help myself more often than not, so I tend to get carried away (just ask Byrd, Andy, or Morden). That said, if you do expand the character limits I highly suggest you to hard-cap it at two.
