Use this as a chance to build relations! <3
    Appearance
Quite tall (184cm) and well-built, Leonard isn’t the ugliest duckling. Indeed, he can be quite attractive with his styled blond hair, slight beard and dark eyes. This is only further accentuated with a striking (read: stupidly expensive) fashion sense, which may or may not include glasses at his own fancy.
Personality
Leonard is that guy who always seems to have the good lady of fortune smiling over his shoulder. He’s the guy you take to the casino to bet all your life’s savings. The man you team up with in your board games. The friend whose intuition you follow for that one crucial decision. But beyond the good dose of luck is a good bit of calculated risk taking. Oh yes, he is a risk taker, an entrepreneur, an experimenter and achiever… overachiever. He enjoys living on the edge. But are they truly risks when they pay off in the vast majority of times? That must be some serious calculation! Indeed, Leonard isn’t just about pure luck. Behind the pretty face hides a seriously competent and clever young man. Unfortunately, Leo isn’t just about modest enough to keep it under wraps. He is a show-off, confident to the point of occasional arrogance and very much used to achieving whatever he set his eyes on (to the point of entitlement). Don’t misunderstand, he’s quite a nice guy, you just have to be able to deal with that (sometimes insufferable) attitude of his. He’s plenty talkative, inclusive and captivating. Despite his own attitude, he doesn’t really look down on others (He knows you’re capable. He’s just a little more… and you know it). He is always willing to help you, but you ought to know that nothing in this world is for free. And Leonard never forgets you owe him a favour. An dictionary definition of opportunism, he never misses a chance to get one-up. However, he isn’t always very considerate of who else that might help or hurt in process. Do you find yourself a hitchhiker on his road to success? Good for you! However, be wary you might be left on the roadside on the first most fleeting, cold whim. It is a sober, businesslike approach to life that leaves him with as much enemies as friends. Usually the people that stay at Leo’s side are those who just stay friends, and away from his entrepreneuring fancies.
Upbringing Synopsis
Most people don’t expect it, but his origins are exceedingly humble. His single mother used to barely get by despite working multiple jobs. She was a sweetheart, she truly was. And so young Leo did as much as he could to not get in her way. Luckily the boy had a good head on his shoulders. According to his mother he got that from his father. Unfortunately, his had a tumour in it. He didn’t even live to see his young boy turn three. The other woman in Leonard’s life was his older sister. A pretty thing, four years older, with hair even blonder than his and laden with speckles. Perhaps she was even more of a mother figure to him than his actual mother, given she was the one taking care of him every day until he stopped shitting his pants. Every day straight out of elementary to get him from day care. Sometimes Leo still wonders if she had actually been allowed to enjoy her early childhood beyond anything than a glorified babysitter. He doesn’t think she truly regret s it, though. The two love eachother as much as siblings can. Regardless, the young boy was forced into a position of independence from a young age; especially once his sister entered a much more rebellious teenage phase. Luckily Leo took after her when it came to having a healthy dose of wit. The boy did just fine on his own, guided by his own smarts and common sense (and an elder sister that still kept an eye on him, even if she said she didn’t). Just fine he did, indeed. Hard work was in his blood, and he passed through his school with flying colours; earning him that scholarship into that medical school his mother could’ve impossibly afforded. Perhaps it was a sense of what happened to his father, and to his entire family as a result, what guided his position to pursue a medical career. Honestly, he never really considered it . But suffice to say he ended up landing himself a fine job just after. But there was more yet. You see, there was something else young Leo was pretty good at: Money. Making money, to be exact. No, not by slaving away at some part-time job (though he did start out this way. After all, you need money to make money). But come up with smart ideas for a business! Leo was fifteen when he started up his first company. A small webshop that sold these high-quality trinkets that the manufacturer just didn’t ship to the Americas. And for some reason it turned into a smashing success! Then came the second idea a year later in the shape of a small tool of his own invention. One patent later and it was booming business as it filled a niche gap in the market. And these fancies of entrepreneurship did not end there. No, in medical school he found a few like-minded people. He wasn’t much of a partygoer, so his efforts quickly turned elsewhere. With a newly-founded company, they worked on developing medical ideas for the sole purpose of selling them to the highest bidder (read: pharma). In the meantime Leo took to other avenues as well and successfully invested in the stock market. By his twentieth, it was safe to say his entire family was living a lot more comfortably. But Leonard is still not done. Nay, even though his bank account now hits a couple more digits than the average student, he still dreamt of an even bigger idea. Something revolutionary. To think up something that’d make the next Microsoft, the next google. That is still but a dream. But hey, he can’t really complain. That medical degree is pretty darn nice as well, and he’ll certainly try to get that MD while he’s at it. And though he has been plenty successful, Leo has no intention to stop. Success can only go one way – forward, as long as you’re willing to take the steps. That is his motto, which has yet to be proven wrong.
Extra! [*]A big fan of traveling – He has a particular fancy for tropical islands [*]Tries sports of all kinds, though he usually doesn’t stick to any one sport for too long. He does work out regularly [*]He has a particularly strong and sensitive sense of smell, and can get sick very easily in response to strong odours.
