Lana was just heading outside to take her break when she received the call from Emily, which she naturally answered right away. Emily was one of the only people she remained in contact with after the fall of Dark Shadow. The two had become quite close during their time in service for the organisation, and the redhead was one of the only friends Lana even had, so when she heard the other woman say it was an emergency, she flew into quite a panic.

She didn't waste anytime explaining to anyone where she was going, and didn't even wait around to call a cab, she just started running as fast as she could to the cafe. Fortunately it wasn't very far, and she made it there ten minutes later. By the time she got there she was completely out of breath, but she kept going. Lana shoved passed a couple who were on their way inside, burst through the door, and began frantically looking around for any sign of her friend. Her actions had drawn the attention of nearly everyone else in the cafe, but she didn't care. As soon as she caught sight of Emily's bright red hair she went rushing over.
