She gathered up her courage, took a deep breath, apologized for the intrusion, and then tapped the fisherman on the shoulder tentatively, speaking up as loudly as she could. [b]"BUWH?!"[/b] The night fisher started, jumping up from his stool. Reflexively, he flexed his burly arms, pulling sharply on the rod. But with no fish on the other end, the line hopped and leapt out of the water, the hook smacking him in the face. [b]"URK!"[/b] went the elderly seaman as he clutched his eye, dropping the fishing pole while hopping back, only to kick his small wooden stool. One hearty splash later, and the stool sunk into the waters below, eliciting a groan from the old man.
