It didn't surprise her that her father hadn't been paying attention when Banner mentioned this guy and she knew the obvious solution was to call Banner, but she didn't want to talk to him. Lance never wanted to talk to him. And she wasn't even sure her father was on good terms with Banner at the moment.

Anyone from Banner's past probably had some connection to the psycho general that wanted to add Abomination to the Avengers roster.
