As for his reasoning to his specialization, it was both a synergy in character and style. A reasonable enough decision. Dawkin wondered what a younger misunderstood Joshua could be like. The stone was an interesting matter, perhaps it was only because Joshua withheld information about it, but it was certainly tantalizing to hear more about it.
