Ehri Khan
Presenting herself to those two men, she almost immediately felt their eyes upon her. As Hector whispered to Jing, Ehri knew exactly what he was talking thanks to her own enhanced senses and Isa's hearing. It was obvious she was receiving a larger portion of attention than the other two newcomers and not of the good kind. But she was already accustomed with that, it wasn't the first time that something like that happened. Even though she entered the Irregulars so she could get more jobs, she shouldn't expect things to change regarding how other people treated her. "I'm Ehri Khan. This is Misha and Isa." Ehri said, looking to the big, harpy eagle on her shoulders and the female dire wolf standing near her after Jing said for the newcomers to talk about themselves. Although she did realize the way Jing spoke to her, asserting his dominance even under his smile, Ehri choose to simply ignore that. She disliked that attitude but she had no choice but to tolerate it, after all, she needed to get in the irregulars. "I'm a member of the Old Blood clan. A skinchanger." Ehri continued, using a word that most others probably never heard or only heard on stories. Skinchangers were already rare even amongst the Old Blood clan and due to the clan being so 'closed' and wary of outsiders, not much was known about them. "I am a skilled tracker, hunter and scout. Like all members of the Old Blood clan, we are accustomed in living in harsh environments such as the cold mountains and forests. So our survival skills are incredibly good." Ehri continued, looking to the man in front of her with an expressionless face. "My fighting style is different from what you or others may be accustomed. The only thing I ask is for space to move myself together with my animals. I work best dashing through the battlefield, going from long to medium range and if necessary, close range. Due to my lack of armor and to the fact that I excel in fighting few enemies at a time, I am not fit to be on the frontline." Ehri said. "Isa and Misha are not tamed animals nor pups... That is also true for me. They do listen to me but I would strongly advise against provoking them." Ehri said, giving a special emphasis on the word pup as she looked to both men in front of her, showing that she was well aware of what Hector had whispered to the other man. "The Old Blood clan view animals differently than you people do. Both of them are my companions, part of my pack, we see them as equals and not as mere tools, in other words, we are one and the same. This is specially true regarding skinchangers. We don't need words to communicate with each other nor commands to understand each other's actions. Due to this and the fact that I'm used to work only with my animals, I am not that used to work in a team." Ehri finished. Her speech had no emotion, she wasn't smiling or excited. Although her strong presence and posture, mainly because of her size, physical and her animals, seemed to suggest she was overconfident she was actually simply serious. The Old Blood clan was a clan of strong people, hardened by living in harsh environments. Due to their unique relationship with animals, showing how strong and capable they were using body language became simply part of their nature in order for them to live with wild animals. After Ehri and the other newcomers finished presenting themselves, Jing took them to meet the rest of the Irregulars taking everyone to a tavern to drink and eat. It took quite a bit of time to convince Misha and Isa to stay on the stable, quietly waiting for her with other animals, which obviously were terrified with their presence. But after protesting they agreed with her. As Ehri quietly ate the piece of dried meat she asked for with a glass of milk she took a quick glance around, looking at the other members of the irregulars as they talked with each other. Jing had already introduced her, Isbeil and the other woman Ehri didn't knew the name to the irregulars. Other than saying her name with a discreet nod of her head, she didn't have much to add. [@Arthanus]
On the next morning, things haven't changed that much. Quietly sitting down on the table, Ehri silently watched as the other members woke up, some sitting down to eat, others going outside but as all the other members passed through, Ehri simply finished eating her breakfast. But apparently, she wasn't the only one hungry. Just after she finished eating, she felt an impatient growl on her mind, followed by a wild, feral hunger coming from Isa. Impatient as always, the female dire wolf was threatening to invade the tavern and go directly to where the food was. Even Misha, who usually disapproved Isa's impulsive behavior agreed with her. Getting up from the table, Ehri discreetly went to the kitchen, getting a large piece of raw meat after giving a few coins to the cook. With the piece of raw meat on her hands, Ehri calmly walked through the tavern, not even trying to hide it as she went out and headed for the stable.
