Yet the tension and despair between the infinites was conspicuous. Walking out of the entrance to the court behind the others, Alice appeared to be staring off into space, thinking about how her friend turned out to be a murderer. Along with making an obvious enemy out of Noel, it seemed to leave her with a bad taste in her mouth. But Braden? The recon seemed right to take his puppets' words with a grain of salt, finding out that he was as annoyed at her as much as the reporter. While the other infinites either greeted the newcomers, or stormed away to their rooms for the night, Alice had other plans. Breaking off from the group, the recon made her way to the study. Not bothering to take in the enjoyable solitude and silence, she approached the vault. All she needed right then was someone to talk to. "Hey, Parker." The vault door was noticably wider. About a single inch, as to be expected. ”Ahhh...” The robot whispered. ”So another case solved. Just two more and I can be free.” She chuckled darkly. ”Woman who shares my name, what brings you here at this hour?” "Just wanted to give you an update." Masson replied. "This case...was an interesting one, the blackened was killed before the real victim. Almost duped us all, really, near sucessfully framing someone. A shame it had to be my old friend though." She weakly smiled for a moment, before it faded away. "Actually, I'm here to make a request..." the recon admitted. Parker seemed to be nodding along to the story. It wasn't until after Mason stopped speaking that she realised something had been asked of her.”A request?” Parker pushed her face against the opening. It was so wide now that it was almost possible for her to look out of it with both eyes at once.”The opening is bigger now. I could certainly pass larger objects to you.” Masson nodded. "You said you could get me information that isn't available here, right?" She tilted her head before continuing. "Well, if it's not too much trouble...maybe you could get me some weapons instead? I can't do much with a simple cutlass." The robot hesitated in her response, but only momentarily. ”You would ask me for a weapon?” Parker placed a hand on her chin.”I'm not sure that's going to be possible. I question why you would ask me for a weapon. The last person who used me in their murderer directly I turned in.” she shook her head. ”I do not think you are so foolish as to ask me for something that could be traced back to you. I suspect you likely have some contingency in place, and I refuse to aid in a crime the others won't be able to solve.” Parker squint her eye. "Now, now, I'm not gonna be murdering anyone. That'd be going back on my word." Masson shook her head in return. "I just need them for the Nights of Carnage. The last one costed us two people's lives, and I can't afford to let it happen again." She explained. "Besides, I have someone I need to protect." The recon averted her eyes in thought. ”Your word?” Parker was silent as she listened to the rest of Mason's plan. ”It is so... Interesting that you have someone that you want to protect. Because there was a time where I was that to someone.” She looked at the ceiling. ”It's so long ago now, but I remember everything. His empty words, his broken promises, all started in happiness before I was thrown in here.” Parker reached her hand through the opening and grabbed Mason by the shirt. She pulled the recon closer until both of their red eyes were gazing into one another. Her voice became a low growl. ”I do not care about your love, requited or not. There's also nothing stopping the two of you from staying in your rooms.” She released Mason. ”You would be better off forgetting about them, unless you want to be the next one to die.” Startled, Masson gasped when Parker grabbed her by her shirt. Supprisingly, the recon was filled with dread as Parker spoke. "U-Understood." She nodded once the robot was done talking. "Sorry for wasting your time." The recon backed up from the vault. ”However.” Parker said loud enough for Masson to hear. ”If you really wish for weapons, you need only break into Davis's room. It's technically not allowed, but you shouldn't be violating any rules if you do it during the night of carnage. I'm sure he gave himself an unfair advantage coming into this game.” She started to lower her voice again. ”There should be a chest. Most of the weapons inside will not be effective on a carnage sister. But keep an eye out for anything with my name on it.” The red eye looked away from Masson. ”And if you can find a K-bar with my name on it, please bring it to me.” She looked back at the recon.”I... Might... Consider giving you one of my weapons for it.” "Mastermind's room, weapons chest, K-bar. Got it, thanks." Masson nodded, before walking away. "'Love'? Heheh, yeah right..." she mumbled to herself, chuckling.
