There was hardly any conversation made between him and Baradiel, not that he tried to initiate it. The concept of casual chatter was still somewhat foreign to him and he did not have anything to speak about outside of the peerage. Despite his distaste of humans, he found the differences between Seattle and London to be quite interesting. The sounds, the sights, and even the smells were totally separate from one another. This unique factor of humans was not enough to keep his attention from drifting back to Alice and his home in Seattle. Desmond was more than eager to return once Baradiel stated it was time to go. Teleportation still made him uneasy but he handled the effects easily. He gave a respectful nod to Alice upon seeing her. Time spent doing nothing in London left the desire for battle in his heart. While the two talked, Desmond excused himself from the conversation and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge to drink.
