She's extremely greedy towards money. Her job as a bounty hunter to kill or capture any divine figures doesn't come cheap. You'll need to present an impressive bounty and a large sum of cash to have her do your dirty work. After all, greed what her life revolves around. This tempts Marie to be corrupted with such greed and lust, often using fraudulent measures to get whats she wants, when she wants. She'll do anything to get information, even through the most cruel and torturous of ways. Though if there's one thing that's nice about Marie is that she has a fabulous sense of flamboyant and glamorous style. She often comes out as a sassy and semi-boastful person, although she doesn't mind simply minding her own business most of the time. [color=ff2400][b]History:[/b][/color] According to Marie, she claims to have been born in a wealthy family who just so happened to run an illegal organization within her local town. As a result, she was trained by her parents to become their ultimate successor. It was long, brutal, and ruthlessly merciless towards the young girl, to the point where they almost succeeded in breaking her completely. Yet Marie was able to triumph over every obstacle, and by the age of 18 she became a highly skilled assassin. Yet after working alongside her parents for two short years, she suddenly gets the bright idea to murder her parents both in cold blood, essentially eliminating the organization once and for all. Did she do it for revenge regarding her brutal upbringing upon them? Did she do it to retrieve power? Nobody really knows... Whatever the case is though, its clear that Marie has broken the strings of confinement and became a free woman in a world of godly opportunities. However, Marie did a few things before heading out into the world beyond. She ordered all of the organization's money to be stored in her own bank account... with not a single piece being spared. The woman hunted down the surviving members of the gang, killing them all in brutal fashions, while also stealing valuable weapons and tech from secret warehouses. Once all traces of the old organization had been eliminated almost virtually from existence, she left her city to search for a new life as a bounty hunter. For years she had worked alone, taking on various missions just to get paid to survive. Of course, this eventually lead her to become obsessed with money, becoming much more greedy in the process. Yet instead of spending it all, she literally sits upon it, as a symbol of her wealth and power. Marie became infamous within the black market, having collected an assortment of nicknames that each define her perfectly. Eventually, Marie's services caught the attention of Hell. After completing her first mission under the faction, she was presented with a glowing green rune. Upon absorbing its powers, Marie was granted the ability of "Hammerspace", in which she can keep weapons, gear, provisions, almost anything imaginable within her crimson red clothes and take them out whenever she pleases. She can even keep her huge stash of wealth in this almost-infinite space, a much better upgrade than simply keeping them in physical and online bank accounts. This magnificent reward showed Marie how resourceful Hell is and became a regular for Hell, eventually getting a high assortment of gear from the bosses she's killed or stolen from various facilities. At that point, the "original" Sin of Greed had pulled the bounty hunter as a permanent guest for Hell to use at will... [color=ff2400][b]Powers:[/b][/color] [list] [*][b]Hammerspace:[/b] For the assortment of extremely powerful and priceless weapons that she carries, Marie needs a good place to store them, while also being able to sheathe them on the dime. Thanks to a rune she uncovered during a mission, her wish was granted that allowed her to create a pocket dimension from within her clothes, allowing her to pull out any desired weapon she has at any given time and situation thrown at her. It also houses other deadly equipment as well. [/list] [color=ff2400][b]Weapons:[/b][/color] Marie's primary weapons come in the form of [b]Weapon-Hyrbids[/b]. These weapon hybrids combine at least two weapons, both firearms, both melee weapons, or both, or more to have a multi-purpose weapon. Each weapon-hybrid comes with its benefits and weakness, each being specifically used in various locations [list] [*][b]Blunderlass - (Cutlass - Blunderbuss):[/b] Marie's primary weapon-hyrbid, it combines that of a cutlass sword and a more modernized blunderbuss gun. It can fire semi-rapid shots, up to 3 shots per-barrel before needing to reload. This weapon combo is most useful in normal battle situations. [*][b]Rocket Lance - (Gunlance - Rocket Launcher - Grenade Launcher):[/b] This weapon hybrid combines that of a gunlance, a rocket launcher, and a grenade launcher, all rolled into one. In melee, the gunlance is used as a short-firing weapon that can unleash a shot when the lance is pierced inside a victim. Works extremely well with big opponents. The rocket and grenade launchers are used for long distance targets who are extremely big and powerful. Grenade launcher can be loaded with the various grenade types Diana wields on her. This weapon combo is most useful against giant foes and taking out groups of enemies, but makes the user rather slow and cumbersome. [*][b]Machine Axe - (Battle Axe - Machine Gun):[/b] This weapon hybrid combines that of a Battle Axe and a machine gun. In melee, the battle axe is used as a swift slashing weapon, while the machine gun unloads a volley of bullets at the opponent. Both are surprisingly light weight and are easy to wield. This weapon combo is most useful against fast and agile opponents, as both weapons are used in swift motion. [*][b]Hammer Gun - (Battle Hammer - Light-Chaingun):[/b] This weapon hybrid combines that of a battle hammer and a light-chaingun. The battle hammer is a powerful blunt weapon that can bash skulls and fling opponents away with a single swing, yet also being rather lightweight. The light-chaingun is basically a smaller chaingun, but shorter, while still retaining its brutal firepower. This weapon combo is used best to dish out tons of damage at close range. [*][b]Owl's Blight - (Scythe - Sniper Rifle - Dual Hand Pistols):[/b] This weapon hybrid combines that of a scythe, a sniper rifle, and can detach two slots to reveal dual Desert Eagle pistols. The scythe is best used as a wide-ranged melee weapon, being also able to hook opponents if they can survive being sliced in half. The sniper rifle can launch armored-piercing rounds at the opponent, piercing through most armor. While in sniper mode, it can also detach two compartments to reveal dual pistols, just in case someone gets too close while in sniper mode. This weapon combo is most useful when in long range, superior in surprise ambushes and assassinations. [*][b]Phoenix Busters - (Gauntlets - Flamethrower):[/b] This weapon hybrid combines that of twin guantlets and a flame thrower. The gauntlets stretch up to Lucina's forearms and can dish out some powerful melee damage when it hits. It also comes equipped with two twin flamethrowers that can be used to spray orange at her opponents. When used with the rocket boots, it is a deadly weapon to behold. This weapon combo is used to distance the opponent when it comes to close, as well as a last resort weapon. [*][b]Neptune's Might - (Trident - Claw - Laser Cannon):[/b] This weapon hybrid combines that of a trident, a claw, and a laser cannon. The trident is used much like a lance or spear, but can dish out slightly more damage and maybe gore two more opponents if lucky. The spears at the end can also extend and close to form a claw that can grip an opponent. If locked in the grip, the laser cannon can fire from the center gap, ripping a large hole in their stomach. It can also be used as a devastating long-ranged weapons, capable of unleashing a large explosion. This weapon combo is mostly used for devastating power from a distance, as well as a "finishing blow" weapon. [/list] [color=ff2400][b]Equipment:[/b][/color] [list] [*][b]Taser:[/b] Marie carries a taser that can also be attached to her weapons to ignite electric shock attacks. It can be used to stun her victims, allowing them to collect them, or to issue a painful death among them. [*][b]Nullifying Nets:[/b] Launched from a net gun, these special nets can suck the magic aura from divine beings the longer they stay in it. They effect both angels and demons. Several seconds inside the net won't do much, but staying in it for ten seconds or more will have the victim slowly feel the affects. Yet this ability cannot be done towards the Machina or mere mortal men alone. However, if the net gun has been powered by her taser, they can be used to short circuit the androids and shock the mortal men into submission. [*][b]Grappling Hooks:[/b] In a pinch, Marie can launch several grappling hooks when using her gauntlets to hook to tight spaces in high places. It admittedly saved her life on several occasions [*][b]Rocket Boots:[/b] Marie's heels and boots come equipped with rocket powered thrusters that allow her to fly fluently in the air, allowing her to keep up with flying opponents and have the high ground against her ground-based opponents. [*][b]Various Grenade Types:[/b] Marie carries a varied assortment of grenades, ranging from; regular, incendiary, smoke, poison gas, flash, etc. They can also be loaded into her grenade launcher weapon. [*][b]Black Hole "Subspace" Charges:[/b] The Black Hole Charges are used to suck in opponents into a concentrated point. While it doesn't kill them, the intense gravity issues nearby opponents to get sucked in and are unable to move for several seconds. This can be used as a last resort to have the bounty hunter get away or issue the finishing blow. [*][b]Spirit Bomb:[/b] The ultimate weapon, Marie's access to this weapon is extremely limited. After a short countdown, this bomb issues a massive explosion that has the raw power of a hydrogen bomb, despite not being radioactive. This weapon is strictly used as a last measure weapon against extremely powerful and important opponents. After all, she only has three of them in her arsenal... and she has never used them since she first got her hands on them.
