After all, the exposition wasn't meant to be a grand event the likes of the Marsera World Exposition in 1899 or the Grand Exhibit of Vermaka in 1902, for it was meant to promote science and invention to a broader public, to the working class and everyone who wished to attend. The price of the tickets was barely $2 dollars, less than 2% of the average national wage and although truth be told, the fair was paid by the citizens of the republic, it also meant that many more could attend in stark contrast with other private expositions and exhibits, which were meant to have a profit, although, sometimes they didn't achieve their goals. Many companies were expected to attend both national and foreign alike. Be it arms companies, railway companies, the newest airship companies, the automobile company. For many this presented an opportunity like never before, for some it meant a waste of public taxes and for others the chance to present to the wider Parakan populace their inventions. One of the posters for the exhibition portrayed the typical street's man family, all taken by the hand going to the exhibit and below it in big letters said "They will go see the future, will you?" . It had been made by artist Ñaran Iqtay, a not very well known artist but with a style that certainly appeal the common populace. The Recruitment Campaign of 1905-1907 With Tensions rising on Eurania and with newly found political will to strenght the army, the minister of defense Ameyalli Coeget had been assigned to conduct a recruitment campaign around the country in hopes of having a big enough army to protect the peace of the republic, for the motto of the campaign was "Peace through Strength" For the state of the army had long been neglected and many historians and contemporaries will agree that it was because the republic of Paraka had never seen a need for a big army, after all, it was isolated from the rest of the world by two large oceans and its two neighbours didn't pose much of a threat to the republic, however, president Armaq Talaqo had long been a man who wished to see the Republic strong and healthy, stable and prosperous, without corruption and without fears. Soon enough, recruitment centers were established on major cities and thus the recruitment campaign started. OOC: +1 to All Actions
