Franklin was the kind of name that would get a kid bullied in school, but the Franklin before him most certainly was not someone who would be the victim of anyones threats. His code name of Sonar was a give away to what sort of specialised technology he would be employing in the field. Soon the pairs attention was drawn to an approaching man who had camouflage paint smeared across his face like an action hero. Franklin moved over to him and spoke to him briefly, givin the Welshman the opportunity to give the training hall a quick walk around. As he paced around looking at what was in front of him, his mind focussed on the painted face of one of the other recruits. He could appreciate the stuff in the field but during a training exercise...it seemed a bit over the top. In the grand scheme of things though it didn't matter, each person had their own quirks and rituals they practised. With the job they shared there was a definite need to be able to get yourself into the frame of mind to be able to act as wholly and efficiently as possible. For some these rituals were their way of getting into that mindset. In Rob's case he was always ready to go, his upbringing in a very military minded family helped him with that. The time rolled by and new arrivals continued to enter the hall ready to find out about their first training mission. They had all had their own experiences of near death experiences, hard fought battles that they survived due to luck rather than skill. After all, luck is surely a soldiers best friend? An enemies gun jamming at the right moment or a sudden breeze to make a bullet trajectory change just enough to miss your head. Rob had his own number of lucky escapes and now working for Rainbow he knew that he would need Lady Luck on his side once again if he and the others were all to survive. This training mission was Rainbow's way of minimising the need for luck because eventually, everyones luck runs out. After having a brief walk around Rob approached the small group that began forming, spotting Franklin amongst them. "Hey guys," he said before glancing down at his watch. "I expect we'll be starting soon. The names Rob but they've assigned me the callsign Ghost." He raised two fingers to the side of his head and gave a slack salute as a greeting to each of the group. [@LetMeDoStuff][@Lady Selune][@Liotrent][@Sifter]
