She supposed it didn't matter that much, the important thing was that they'd made it out alive. Still, she wished for a chance to make a difference. Paige joined the rest of the group at the main building of the farm. Typical of her, she had no response to most of what was said there, aside from a little mental comment when Sharon first woke up and asked why they were here. Good question. Unfortunately, you wouldn't believe us if we told you. I know I wouldn't, she thought, then Or maybe not, when she started talking to Claire. Oh yeah, Claire was right that Sharon knew more than she was letting on, though that wasn't hard to tell at this point. This girl and her damn inability to give a straight answer, seemingly out of spite, was getting quite frustrating. Paige could sympathise with Sharon being unhappy to find strangers in her home, but this was a life or death situation - which Sharon probably already knew - and Paige wasn't about to get murdered by Scott Reese just because this girl wanted to be ominous about her clue-giving. In what was becoming a worryingly frequent occurence, Paige didn't react well to Sharon's decision. She walked up to Sharon, making it look like she moving slowly because she had a choice. She stood very close, and looked Sharon dead in the eye, speaking quietly, but not so quietly that the others couldn't hear, at least the ones closeby. "These people standing behind me. I hope you've taken a good look at them, because these are the people you almost killed. I don't really give a fuck if you were unconscious when it happened, the fact remains that you need to make it up to them, and to me. I don't see Andrea around here either, so unless she ran away, I'd bet that makes you a murderer. Oh, and look, after you trashed your own house, these people cleaned it up for you, because they are good people. Now, you seem to know what's going on here, so I suppose you know that a psychopath's hunting us down, killing anyone who strays form the pack? The more time we spend on your stupid errand, the more likely it gets that he kills another one. We aren't throwing away our lives for your fun. So, let me tell you how I think we should do this. You're going to answer every question we have, as fully and honestly as you can. If you don't, well, we've lost one, and you won't be useful to us, so you know how it is: eye for an eye. Then, if we still don't feel we know enough, we will consider looking at room 108. Is that clear?"
