Now, if the Three Letter horror show didn't scare you away and you're actually reading this, huzzah!... I kid, lemme stop being stupid ;3 SO! I started playing this game recently, Sunless Skies, and if you don't know anything about it that's fine, you don't need to, I just wanted to pose an idea that struck me as really interesting that was inspired by it. The base premise is abnormal space-born transportation [the game uses steam locomotives that are somehow air-tight XD kinda surrealist stuff I think.] allowing travel between different points in a section of space that seems to be dotted with land-chunks ranging from county to Continent sized, with various strange phenomena present like Giant flowers or a titanic mountain somehow rising out of nothing... It's a pretty bizarre setting! Now that combined with my imagination pondering on certain fandom settings that take place in relatively small areas, like single cities or nations and you never really see outside of them in some of these, cue the 'collection of broken worlds' theme! Think of it like a... 'condensed multiverse', instead of multiple entire universes interconnected, What I am imagining is a single universe populated by fragment-worlds, an Equestria here, an Academia there, some yu yu hakusho over on that side, or some /Fate over there, or any number of others. Many of these world fragments aren't even aware of eachother [and depending on the opinion of whoever participates in the RP, may be 'just fragments' or may be portions of other universes that exist in this space, like a seamless portal connection between the multiverses.], though naturally some places will have been built in-between that aren't required to be settled on the land of one place or another. There will of course be plot >3> though the options are broad as the imagination itself, the starting plot I have in mind involves one of those unaware worlds [Equestria is what I'm thinking XD yes, I like experimenting with strange alien rainbow horses.] being exposed to that connection, and by extension whatever is the source being exposed to 'them', whether that a wrecked ship [with some players on it ;P] crash-landing, or some kind of expedition deliberately exploring un-touched world-fragments, or if you want it 'really' rough and dramatic, break out some kind of imperial mining operation coming down to harvest the untouched bounty... I like the first one personally, good for a smaller group to warm up with, and allows for smaller plots instead of being thrown straight into the bon-fire. There's going to be a fair bit of influence here from people interested in participating, the starting plot could even take place in an entirely different location or fandom/world depending on the group that joins and their interest :D Now, all that said, I'm planning 3-6 people for starting, preferably with the ability to post regularly [hopefully daily, but I can understand if you get delayed, I get em too], able to write a paragraph at a time, with a healthy imagination but willing to work on keeping things balanced and fun.
