Sakuya and Toshinari had stayed put, sorting out the issue with the bento, though it was clear that most of the group would have to endure the lack of a proper dinner for the night. That is, unless they wanted to scavenge the woods in hopes they didn’t end up with a handful of poison berries and rotten apples. A strong fire wasn’t likely from the materials gathered, but at the very least the embers caused by the loose paper and wood would give them a degree of warmth, though it wasn’t a particularly cold night, so that was probably luck on their part. The night sky stood above, peering through the single hole in the roof of the shrine, though for anyone who was adept in astronomy would find themselves most confused. None of the stars matched up into any sign whatsoever. A curious thing. The forest was quiet and despite the webs that hung above some of the corners of the shrine, there didn’t seem to be any spiders lingering that they could see. Then again, if they noticed the native species of spider, they probably would’ve left the shrine and took their chances at night in the forest, trying not to stumble over their own feet.[/indent]
