His stomach is a bottomless hole. - Has a knack for burning money really fast (figuratively, not literally) ✦ Profession: Illustrator / Painter / Works on building his portfolio and constantly searching for new clientèle (works from his little studio in his apartment) ✦ Bio/Personality:
Since he became a full-fledged adult, he moved away from his parents and younger sister. Moving away from the safe harbor into the unknown ocean, that kind of scheme. It went well until he needed to start paying for his own bills and food. Suddenly his decision not to go to college and instead nurture his talents didn't sound as smart. Yet, Ash shrugged it off, he was never the smartest person around, his family had his sister for that. She was the brains. He was the... artist. Artist, yeah - ever since he could remember, Ash loved to draw. He started with stick figures, of course. But soon those stick figures became better stick figures. And better, and better. Until he was capable of producing some pretty decent drawings. Hell, there was nothing else he wanted to do with his time anyways. Video games didn't appeal to him, so when his elementary school friends got into online gaming, he got some extra time to hone his skills and not have to constantly reject his friends' invitations to go out. Win win. His father was an admirer of his work through the years, something of a father seeing his oldest child grow in the field he was passionate about. That's what he always told him at least. What mattered was that he was proud of him and thus ready to help him follow his dreams, even though mother wasn't the biggest fan. She was always more of a logical person, looking towards profession which would be easier to achieve a future with. Her plan was to send Ash to college, a good one at that - he would be able to draw and paint all he wanted as a hobby, while actually doing something with his life. Those were her words. What she didn't expect was that Ash would start going out much more by the end of high school. Puberty hit him hard, so going against the current was what all the cool kids were doing. He might as well. Smoking, drinking, clubbing. Being one of the cool kids. Everyone loved having a witty and silly artist in their group. But it was during those nights that he actually met some people who knew a friend of a friend. And that distant friend needed some illustrations for one project or another. Ash actually got his first gigs while being half-drunk. And earned some cash for the first time in his life by doing what he loved. That sparked up an idea. A little light bulb above his head. Who needed college? He was going to move out and make it the industry of... whatever the drawing industry was called. He didn't know. He didn't care all that much. It was going to be an adventure one way or another. And who was he to say no to an adventure? Especially one that burned so intensely in his heart. "From Ashes rises a phoenix, that phoenix is going to be my drawings" - he told his parents before stating he was moving out. That went as well as anyone could except. Many twists and turns later - Ash started having some reputation around, which was great. He was happy. Over those three years, he saved up enough money to move not only to a better apartment, but to a more ambitious and fun town. Most of his best friends were in college anyways, so he had no bad feelings about moving away. After all, it was an age of technological marvels, they would stay in touch somehow. He rented a comfy apartment knowing that he would be able to sustain himself for several months with what he saved up, so there was enough space for him to settle down in peace and start working again. What could go wrong? Knowing virtually no one in this new city was going to be amazing test to his, maybe a bit rusty, social skills too. Next stop - Sol City.

Ash is one of those people. You know them - those people. Seemingly without a worry in their lives. They wake up, more cheerful than other people. To the point of making other people sick. They go to sleep, happy with the day they left behind them. He tries always doing something productive or fun every single day, searching for new ways to entertain the time. People usually say that he's an airhead and quite frankly, he is. A bit. Not a total one, but he certainly doesn't over-think stuff. What will happen will happen, that sort of thing. He loves life, meeting new people and getting close to them, an extrovert to the fullest. It's what fills his inspiration, when he gets back home after a long and tiresome day... there's no better time but to sit down and draw something nice. And then work deep into the night - wake up like a zombie, drink some coffee and conquer another day. Well... that part about being cheerful in the morning? A blatant lie. He is, when around other people. Like sleepovers. Do people still do that at his age? Probably not. But when at home, he's a drooling mindless beast when he wakes up. Maybe he wouldn't be if he knew how to better organize his time and get some good sleeping hours in, but where's the fun in that? His art reflects his personality, carefree, easy to swallow and simply... colorful. Yet, he has been known to make some dark paintings too. It's interesting, really. When working on drawing, he is in that cheerful mindset, but when he picks up the brush and approaches the canvas - a lot darker motives come to his mind. He always prescribed it to watching a lot of horror movies while he was a kid. And really - A LOT of horror movies. It was his favorite past time after drawing. It draws a grin on his face when he remembers it, sitting down to watch a nice family movies with his family, the one he choose due to his young kid movie expertise (and his father not knowing how to say no). Then watching as the movies rolls on and his little sis squirm from terror. Hah, it was funny to him. A bit rude from his part, but hey - he was a kid. He wouldn't do that now. Probably. He loved his sister more than anything. Plus, she wasn't a scaredy cat anymore and Ash loves to think he played a great part in that.
✦ Your character's favorite song: Chainsmokers - Closer, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PT2_F-1esPk (he is a junkie for mainstream music and he's not ashamed to admit it, guilty pleasures and all that) ✦ Actor or Actress who would play your Character in a movie: I literally have no idea right now! If I figure it out, I'll update this! If you have an idea, shoot :)

* Your age: 23 * What part of the world are you from? Croatia, right in the middle of Europe * How many years have you been writing/roleplaying: I think I've been writing since... 2010? Something like that, on and off of course. As for RPing, I joined the guild before the huge crash 4 years ago and then joined again, but wasn't able to keep up being as active a member as before. * How often do you have time to post? Depends really, on my uni and job obligations. Since I work design stuff from home, there will be times where I'll be able to go on a post rampage if need be. Other times life is gonna stick me right between a rock and a hard place so I won't be able to post for a few days. * Anything else you want to mention? What you do for a living?... So yeah, I basically do graphic and audio design, but I also study information sciences so I can do things with databases and similar stuff. I make music from time to time, dabble a bit in photography and plan on starting up my youtube vlog again. Stuff like that. I love sweets, kpop, cosplaying and traveling. This is gonna be silly, but a trivia about me - as a hobby, I also do pro wrestling. So like JOHN CENA DU DU DU stuff. ^.^'
