He covered his mouth at the tail end of his yawn, muttering a quiet apology to nobody in particular as he began moving once again towards the stairway down. The trip itself had been pretty boring, Chen had just listened to a podcast on his phone for most of the ride, only taking out his earbuds once he realized he was close to his stop. It was at this moment that something occurred to Chen. He had absolutely no idea how to get to Ishin from the bullet train stop. Well this is embarrassing. No way is he going to ask some random stranger where his own school is, that would just make him look bad and the school, as well by association. "Hmm. What to do, what to do." Despite this major problem, Chen didn't look particularly worried or nervous. He could solve this problem with but a minute of thought, such a conundrum was nothing for a guy like him. Perhaps he could just follow someone there. Yeah, just follow another student there! Of course he had to find another student first, but he would be able to identify them by uniform no problem. As Chen's eyes scanned the crowd, he noted all the various people going about their lives, so many different Quirks. And he had the best Quirk out of all of them. Finally his eye caught sight of a girl wearing an Ishin uniform asking for directions, perfect. He would just follow her to the school. It never occurred to him that if she got lost then he would get lost as well, luckily it didn't come to that. He hiked his bag up onto his shoulder a bit and began following after Takara with confidence, now ready to truly begin his journey to becoming a hero. He also put his earbuds back in and resumed his podcast, Kamui Woods had some interesting stuff to say about deforestation and how Quirks are vital in protecting the environment. He arrived at the school with some time to spare, so he made sure to stop and smell the roses, metaphorically speaking. There were no roses around the school, instead the awe inspiring sights were induced by the building itself. Large, grand, imposing to some. This would be where Chen stayed for the next few years of his life and it would be where he formed his skills. It would also be where he formed important connections, the most important part of being a hero. Doesn't matter how strong or smart you are if you can't land a job with a good agency. After he spent an appropriate amount of time admiring the building, not too short as to not appreciate the architecture but not too long as to appear weird, he made his way to the meeting hall, once again catching sight of the girl he had followed here. Perfect, he could sit right next to her and strike up a conversation while he waited for the assembly to start. With hands in pockets and cocky grin plastered onto his face, he sat down next to Takara as she began speaking to the blue haired girl. His eyes scanned over the two of them quickly, the blue haired girl looked way too serious for his liking. But she was going to be a classmate nonetheless, so he would just have to get her to wind down a little. "Hey there, I saw you at the bullet train earlier. Are you not from around here either?" As he spoke up Chen made sure to make eye contact with both girls as he flashed his best confident smile, cranking up his charm to maximum levels. "I'm Adachi Chen by the way. Pleasure to meet you two and likewise I'm sure." He winked at the end of his introduction, crossing one leg over the other as he leaned back into his chair.
