Important details about the plot:
[indent]Police Lieutenant Davison has been selling classified gear to a few different gangs in a war with one another. All is well and good, since the gangs pretty much know that if they off Davison then all the other gangs are going to bash their skulls in for cutting the steady supply of "the good shit", weapons, ammo, combat drugs, what have you. But then the lieutenant is approached by a megacorporation employee who politely introduces himself and informs the good detective of just how deep shit he has buried himself in by causing trouble to the corporation he represents. And that he should probably make himself useful for them, or there will be hell to pay.

Now the man has vanished. His status is unknown to everyone, even the NCPD, but everyone wants to get their hands on him. The corporation (Murkywater Security), the police department, the gangs, and then there's the relatives of the man. Players are free to create characters from multiple walks of life, who may or may not end up forming alliances or competing directly with one another. Any single faction should nonetheless try for some cohesion between its members.[/indent]

Current ongoing plotlines and their respective synopses:
[hider=The case of the Golemeth (Tracy & Theron)]
-Somewhere in the combat zone, a Hardware Spider has a [u]laser-disc CD[/u] they pulled out of Golemeth. His whereabouts and its contents are unknown.

-Lieutenant Davidson had one of his primary holdings at the [u]address 5757 Babbage Cell[/u]. He was last seen there [u]four days ago[/u]. There may or may not be anything left over there.

-Lieutenant Davidson had a meeting yesterday at that address with an individual named [u]Nailtooth[/u]. Golemeth was present at the meeting since he was buying equipment from Davidson as well as having [u]an interview with Nailtooth, who was interested in hiring him[/u]. Nailtooth gave Davidson a [u]mysterious briefcase[/u] and told him to hand it off to a contact, [u]Tracy[/u].

-Theron's contacts at Intellitron failed to identify Tracy via his facial profile, retinal data, or voiceprint. Theron now knows who the case was supposed to be handed off to, but does not know that his erstwhile accomplice is that person.

-Davidson said he wouldn't be able to hand off the briefcase himself and [u]would give it to somebody else to do so[/u]. We do not know if he actually did so or who might have been assigned to hand it off.

-The briefcase was supposed to be handed off to Tracy somewhere called [u]Deeptower[/u].

-Tracy obviously never got that memo or else would not have had to pursue Golemeth in the first place. Something obviously did not go according to plan.

How Tracy knew about Golemeth, or the meeting at Davidson's place, or Nailtooth, is presently unknown.

-The Colonel's Corner Amphibians are after Lt. Davison since the man was their main weapons supplier. For this task, they enlisted the help of Nina Ruadh, an info broker.

-The meeting went surprisingly well, so much so that the gang and the info broker ended up joining forces for this case.

-The best lead they had was a certain trench coat wearing corporate guy, likely solo, who served to inform the gang of the fact that Lt. Davison would no longer be in the market.

-This is about to change with them interrogating the would-have-been kidnapper/subduer of Scarlett, only that the man was left biting the dust by his mark. Now he is getting asked questions in less than polite manner, though it appears any possible leads here are going to be quite limited.

-Scarlett has been doing several tasks for her master, nothing out of the ordinary.

-Attempts to gain more information about Lt. Davison have been going questionably. Whether actual progress has been made is debatable.

-What was out of the ordinary was her meeting with some shady people at the bar that served as the Colonel's Corner Amphibians base of operations, which almost led to her being captured.

-Since she did not end up in such a precarious situation, she instead ended back at the Fortress, though now she has decided to call upon Nina who she saw in passing to see if there is something she could use in the info broker's possession. (?)
