After the captain had answered his question, he immediately tried to correct her, recognizing that it was a case of miscommunication on his part. Meta: That's not what I meant. I was asking about- But before he could even finish his statement, the airlock doors opened and conveniently answered his question for him as the platoon of police droids poured out of the doorway and opened fire on the three. He instantly grabbed his plasma rifle as one particular unit turned to aim its rifle at him. Meta quickly pulled the trigger and a red bolt of plasma shot out of the barrel and made its mark on the chestplate of the droid, knocking it down and leaving a gaping crater in its wake. Sparks began to fly out of the droid as its systems began to fail, it attempted to recover but soon fell back to the floor with a crash as another shot from Meta blasted its head to pieces. After dispatching the droid, he quickly shifted his attention to the group that was focused on Vertex. He fired a barrage of plasma bolts into the group, taking out a few bots with lucky shots while making sure that he wouldn't hit the captain, as he knew that even a single stray shot would leave them in a disadvantageous situation. While he was gunning down the droids, his helmet detected another robotic presence moving from behind them. Fortunately this was a friendly, and shortly after he recognized the signal as their android crew member. He opened his Comms to her and started talking. Meta: Good timing, we could use some more help with these clankers. However, his comm system soon detected another signal on an open channel. Initially hesitant, he eventually opened the channel and received the message. Once he heard it, he switched back to the comm of the Wyvern's crew and played the message there, for everyone to hear. Meta: Found this in an open channel, thought you guys might want to hear it.
