She wanted to help Ben. She so badly wanted to go to him, to tell him she was there for him, and that everything would be okay. Things always ended up alright as long as they were together. Yet, as Luke went to leave, he told her to keep her distance from Ben tonight. That her presence might end up agitating him further. Instead, he suggested she care for the padawans. He was right. The padawans were likely frightened after such events. She needed to make sure they were alright. She was a Jedi Knight an they looked up to her. She needed to be there for them. And so, she left to check on each of the padawans. Some seemed to be holding up okay. A little shaken but all together they would be fine. A coupe of the younger padawans were in tears, to which she held them and comforted them much like a mother might. After calming the padawans, Odette herself retired to her own hut, trusting Luke to speak to him like he promised. If anyone could help Ben aside from her, then surely Luke could. After all, the man had practically raised them, and was much like a father to Odette herself. She trusted Luke with her life, and trusted him to help Ben as well. Once returning to her hut, Odette took to studying the books that piled around her small home. With her and Ben always off on missions, Odette found it useful to study up on different cultures and languages, which had come in handy on more occasion than one. She sat up with that for a few hours, before finally retiring to bed, believing that all was well and that come morning everything would be calm and peaceful once again. Only, late into the night, Odette was awakened by a frantic knock on her hut door, causing her to sit up in shock, rushing to her door to open it up, having heard the fear in Ben's voice. Quickly pulling the door open, she feared the worst. He looked so scared, there was even a tear streaked down his face. This wasn't like Ben. He was normally so calm and composed. Just what had happened to cause him to slip into such a state? She quickly pulled him into her hut and shut the door, eyes scanning him for some sort of injury. He looked roughed up, with dust and small pebbles sticking to his robes. She was frantically checking him for injuries, speaking hurriedly and in a rushed tone, panic and fear for him in her voice, "Ben? What happened? Are you hurt?"
