[@Dinh AaronMk]From what I understand there would have been around half a million in the area around the start of the Great War.  As the blame shifted from Germans and the Tsar to Bolsheviks they might have been subject to progressively less discrimination in this time line though. Certainly no mass deportations to Siberia.

Maybe they dominated the regions population at the time of the Russian empires collapse. Hm. That would be INTERESTING.
