Xayah is pale with deep black hair and silver grey eyes making her look almost like a living Snow White. She’s fairly short standing at 5 foot three. 
Her feline shape resembles an oriental shorthair with all black fur and striking silver eyes.

Personality:
 Xayah is a quiet spoken extrovert. Willing to talk to anyone but once she is upset she becomes more threatening in nature. She is empathetic and easy to get along with.

History:
Xayah became a familiar when she was summoned a century ago. The duo of magic user and demon worked but the two personalities did not mesh well and she disappeared from them in search of a different being to be with.

As she searched she found Rakan a black dog who did not live up to the stereotypes of their species. Finding that they were similarly minded and both wanted a friend they joined together. They have managed to miss many a hunter but any time they find a being in need they fight what is harming them...often a hunter.

Now Xayah and Rakan wander from place to place often picking up random jobs to prevent suspicion and learn more about that area. They have yet to find somewhere they would like to stay until they followed a trail to a place that has more supernaturals then they would expect. Perhaps this will be a place to stay.

Strengths:
Xayah has a few strengths. Being what she is she is quite strong along with being capable of shifting lending her soft footsteps and agility. She has a fairly good healing capability for herself but it’s not extreme she is better at healing others. She does possess telekinesis but she seems to only use that when necessary.

Weaknesses:
holy water harms her and she cannot cross salt. Iron also tends to harm her but not to the same level as holy water.

Stance:
inactive for now: if she teams up with a magic user and their reason for being active makes sense then she will become active as well

Special Power/Skill:
unlucky: she is capable of causing small things to people that are unlucky. For example: tripping or a gun being clogged or losing at gambling.

Other:
Xayah and Rakan are inseparable and what she lacks in capabilities he makes up for
There are many myths surrounding black cats and she tends to use those misconceptions to her advantage.

Rakan is pale with black hair and striking green eyes. Tall at 6 foot 3 with a lean build he doesn’t look horribly imposing but something about him puts people on edge. His ears have a small point and his canines are sharper than average. His nails are seemingly painted black at all times.

Personality:
Rakan is the louder voiced of the duo but doesn’t often speak out. He seems to listen more than talk however he is also pretty personable if an individual can get past the creepy feeling.

History:
Rakan does not recall how he came to be but he remembers after. He was on a cemetery and he felt as if he had the purpose of protecting. For a century he stayed there before he felt as if he needed more in his existence.

He wandered lonely abandoned road until he found someone who seemed lost. It was not in his nature to guide the living but that was resolved when she turned and her eyes were like a cats for a moment. She was a demon akin to him. 

From that moment on he stayed with her exploring and discovering the world. Protecting those who needed them then leaving once they were no longer needed.

Strengths:
Rakan is equipped with supernatural strength and endurance. His true form being a mule sized black dog with the same bright green eyes.  He is capable of being more spirit like or more solid and when more spirit like his fur looks more like smoke.

Weaknesses:
iron harms him (not to the same extent as Xayah) he cannot cross salt. Xayah: if Xayah is harmed he will try to protect her.

Stance:
inactive: technically neutral but more likely to attack something that provokes or upsets him then Xayah

Special Power/Skill:
hellfire: Rakan is capable of controlling hellfire. Breathing it and any slashes or bites he gives burns and causes the wound to heal slower if at all. It is said that he is capable of healing these wounds but that hasn’t been proved true. 

Other:
Rakan is more animal then Xayah is and this for him situations are more sensitive.
Many legends surround black dogs...how if you look into their eyes a year later you will die or how they guide and protect the dead and if you see one you will die later or how they make no sound when walking. In addition it is said that harming a black dog will result in more harm to the person then the dog. Rakan does not confirm or deny any of these but one cannot shake the feeling of dread around him and how if he breathes on your skin a chill sweeps your body.
