Osamu seemed an amiable fellow, but she couldn't help but feel stuck between a rock and a hard place, her parents teachings and beliefs on one side, and Osamu's father's on the other. Her own passiveness towards such subjects didn't help but put her uneasiness center-stage. “Oh, uh, well, yes. My parents are... partial. To the LDP, and such.” Yachiyo had leaned in slighty, lowering her voice dramatically from the prior alert shrill.. Her eyes - uncharacteristically - had drifted away from Osamu, even while she spoke, instead flickering across the seats and their occupants to their sides. Mirthless politeness crept into her face and manifested in a well-practiced smile, as she bowed forward just a bit. “It's very nice to meet you, Kenzo Osamu. I'm sure the school is delighted to have you, too. It's an honor to study alongside of you.” Her parents would be fawning over Kenzo Miura's son attending the same class as their daughter. She'd have to make sure to include it in her writing home, soon. Truthfully, she, too, was surprised to find the boy exude a fair bit of warmth in their exchange. Apathy to the business of people like her parents tended to roam inside of her, but this was... a positive surprise. “I hope will get along well.” Glancing at the blue-haired girl's eyes continuously sliding into malicious squints, Yachiyo's teeth dug into the left part of her bottom lip, wondering aloud, though she hoped the girl didn't notice her. “Our classmates are very diverse, and... interesting, aren't they?”
