Ernest activates his sensors, scanning across the area around him. In the distance, he sees the lightyear-spanning ribbon, with nothing else of note within the range of his basic sensors.. He is fascinated by the object and decides to move closer..... carefully. Slowly. He does not know the nature of it, it might be dangerous. But... it looks fascinating. Ernest really wants to know what is going on.

Ernest also realize he has not checked the dorm he decides to assign some repair pods to investigate what is wrong, and to see if anyone is in there.

Ok, maybe I should post this in the OOC, but if you want your character to start in Ernest's Dorm for whatever reason, feel free to do so, just let me know beforehand. Eventually, there comes a point where I can not justify people waking up in my spaceship without a good reason. This offer will be retracted eventually, probably when I make my 2nd post.
