He came into the royal palace esteemed of the acomplishment of such an achievement but he neglected to speak to the Empress for approval of all conditions. Upon reading the treaty The Empress handed it back to Jesus. "A bridge? Perhaps I wasen't clear, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt this time Jesus." She says, the man now turning a sick pale of white. "There won't be a bridge, it's too expensive, big maybe. We could spend the money on the bridge inventing new motors, foods, things that would benefit Tara. I'd rather we benefit than have others benefit off the hard work of a Taran do you understand?" The meek, small man that was Jesus only stood at five feet. He was skinny and was balding already, at the age of fourty some say it was the stress of the job but people who say that are bald themselves, typically. "Y-.. Yes Empress." The man said, taking a knee in respect for her and the royal line that she and those before her had descended from. "Amend it and leave my sight." She waved him off before handing the treaty to a steward who quickly turned the Toubrian paper to ash in the nearby fireplace. Jesus left forthwith, cursing once more. The petty man went to his study to readdress the terms on new, Taran paper. Meanwhile in Tarantine Serranthia the garrision posted are on alert, near the coast of the Tarantine Serranthia the Guardsmen watch for the coastline for suspicious activity. The garrision has been on alert recently now that a conference had been going on in the region, should the rebels attempt anything in a Tara or it's colonies approriate force would be authorized. When asked about what kind of response, Commander Felip Esquire rebuffed at the media's attempt at elaboration on the military's plan. "At this time we cannot comment on any ongoing operations." Was the official word from the commander, some colonists are worried of the conflict that might spill into Tarrantine if the conference fails. The Tarian Spectator wrote about the situation of the enslaved towns people and inaction from the colonial government in a recent front page article "TOUBRES COLONISTS LEFT FOR DEAD?".
