Bast Ragoczy
A good drink was everything Bast needed to forget that disappointing and unfortunate meeting. As they sat down, Bast silently started to sip on the cup of wiskey as Bartholomew talked to him. His frightened expression when Bast said whom he had visited already told Bast enough about what he thought about them. After Bart told him how Varjo was once Razella and how the city actually was, Bast became even more disappointed. How could the Caldeyron destroy such place and transform it in just a den for them to raise their war dogs? Regarding Joshua and Leyanne personally though, Bast expected so much more... A reason, a goal to be achieved, ambition... But they were simply savages. Cunning, yes. He would give them that. Just as Bart said, even though they are bloodthirsty savages, they are cunning. Creating a place like Varjo and making it a name that others fear just to mention is not something your average village idiot can do... Bast wouldn't make the mistake of underestimating them, after all, they were still dangerous enemies. When Bart asked him if he mentioned the guild to them though, Bast couldn't help but to smile at the man. Of course he hadn't mentioned the guild. He wasn't the type of man that would leave any type of trail behind for anyone to follow. Bast liked to take care of his problems and business himself. But before he could put all that in words, a mighty roar coming from outside interrupted them. Something was obviously happening. Just as Bast and Bart got to the main hall, together with the rest of the members that were inside, they were greeted by intruders. Bast wondered if they what did they wanted by invading such a place. The guild wasn't exactly incredibly wealthy... Sure, they had some money, but if they wanted to profit, there were much better places to go. But before Bast could think more about it, the intruders pointed to Bart, pointing their muskets to him, answering Bast's question. They were there for Bart. Luckily, Bart was faster than him, tackling him to the ground just as the muskets opened fire on them. Just after the muskets fired, Bast quickly kicked the table's feet, making it drop in front of them, making a makeshift cover to at least break the musketeers' aim on them. "I owe you one, my good friend. Oh, and regarding Leyanne and Joshua... That was my business. I said nothing about you guys or the guild. Don't worry." Bast said, reaching for his top hat that fell from his head just near him, putting it on again. "Muskets... It will be troublesome to deal with them..." Bast said, just as one of the intruder's expressed his dissatisfaction for having missed their target. The troublesome part was that they had both ranged and melee enemies. Getting close was very dangerous right now..." Bast said, looking around. It would be troublesome to deal with their formation as they were right now. Luckily though, the second Bast looked up, he saw Freyr just as he arrived with his bow in hands, aiming down from upstairs. Apparently he already had one of the intruders with muskets under his aim. "Luckily, it seems our backup is arriving." Bast said, referring to Freyr who was already taking aim as he made a card appear between his fingers. The card was glowing with a white light as he threw them towards the intruders. The second it got nearby them, it would make a blinding flash of light to distract them at least a bit. [@PaulHaynek][@The Irish Tree]

Freyr
"It will be of a huge help... I don't think it'll be a safe trip... I could use some steel arrowheads to pierce light armor... If it isn't asking too much, of course." Freyr replied to Talia, as she offered to forge some weapons for them. Even though Freyr used a bow a lot and his knife was more of a backup weapon and a tool, he could still use some things forged, like special arrowheads that could pierce iron armor for example... As Magnus started talking with Talia, Freyr couldn't help but to listen. A flying machine? Of what sorts? That was indeed quite interesting. Maybe he could ask to them if he could go see it as well... After they arrived on the guild, Freyr went upstairs to his room to tend to his bow a bit. It was important to take care of his bow as he used it so much and because if it broke due to lack of maintenance, it would be very hard to repair due to it's size and construction. Especially due to the fact that it was made using wood from the Vieran forests... A few hours later though, he heard a deafening roar coming from outside. Without too much time to think about what it was happening, Freyr immediately went towards the balcony to see what it was happening. Much for his surprise, he was greeted by intruders. Some were wielding daggers but the most dangerous ones were obviously the ones wielding those muskets. Freyr had already seen that type of weapon a few times when hunters tried to invade the Vieran forests and he knew how deadly they could be. When Bart shouted, Bast was reminded how terrifyingly lethal those weapons were. The sound was so loud that it made his ears hurt, almost making him lose his aim. Luckily, Bart and Bast were able to dodge their shots, but they were still in a poor position. From where Freyr was he could easily take down one or even both musketeers. They still didn't know he was there so at least one of them was as good as dead. As Freyr let go of the arrow, it whistled trough the air, going directly towards the musketeer's chest.
