Also, I was listening to music and came up with a small edit to our plans for Poe, kind of mixing my idea with yours in a way. So, what if, when Odette and Poe have to pose as a couple and such, end up forced into a situation where they have to kiss to not draw suspicion. Steming from that and a few other things, it comes to be that Poe ends up with feelings for Odette. Feelings of course she wouldn't feel the same about, still in love with Ben, but just him having feelings for Odette is enough to send Kylo into a rage to hurt Poe when he gets him alone. Maybe even Poe, being his normal witty self, egging him on about how Ben gave her up when he turned to the dark side and how she could never want him now that he's a part of the dark side, etc. 
Of course when Poe meets Tatooine Girl later on, his feelings for Odette subside, but I figured it'd be a good little plot handle to annoy Ben for a bit XD

Also, don't ask me why, but for some reason I really want Odette to sing at some point. So I was thinking, that way it's not too forced of a situation with a song she sings, maybe she and Poe take up the identities of two real people that have never been seen by the planet they are undercover at. Famous people that can give Odette and Poe access to more information if they pretend to be them (perhaps they knock out the people and still some sort of identification badge). Unknown to them though, the woman that Odette takes the identity of is a performer, a famous singer meant to sing on stage at the party they are infiltrating. So Odette is kind of in a forced situation, telling the others quickly to get searching for whatever it is they need while she's a distraction on stage. And though she's nervous, never done such a thing as sing in front of so many people (maybe in front of Ben if we want, but never in front of anyone else). 

Anyway, she sings and I figure this could be a chain reaction to a few things. One being her singing can be a kind of jump start for Poe's feelings toward her. Another can be to put a bit of sorrow in Ben, him seeing her sing either in person or through a hologram. And, I was thinking that, this is where Rey and the others start to begin to think there's more to Odette and Ben's history than she's letting on (this being before Odette tells them about her relationship with Ben in the past). 
For the song, I was deciding between two.
This first one is a solo version of the one I showed you before. I figure that if it were this one it could have a sorrowful effect for Ben, especially if its an old song either he or Odette sung when they were kids. Maybe we could even have a Force Vision before this part that she and Ben have together, watching their child selves interacting and singing this together.

The second one is this song. This one I liked because it showed how much Odette still cares for Ben, saying how none of the finest things in the universe could be enough for her if she didn't have Ben at her side. I also figure that it would be more effective for the whole Poe thing with it being such a strong and emotion filled song.

They both have their obvious good points XD IDK, what do you think of all these ideas? Did we want to keep some of the ideas and scrap others? It's all pretty much up for discussion so let me know what you think.

I think the Poe and Odette idea is interesting. I want to go along with it. Listening to the two choices I'll go along with the first, on the merits that it makes the most sense. Her and Ben has this song almost planted inside of them and with Odette, not being exactly being musician its the only song I can see her singing in that position. I imagine the crowd goes wild for her, that Poe falls for Odette in such an intense manner, that Kylo, who was pulled into a kind of spiritual nostalgia because of the song, feels a challenge in the Force. 

I personally want Kylo in the canteen, albeit not on official 'First Order' business, just a visiting traveler. This could be his first realization that Odette is alive. Putting into motion a heartfelt if not agonizing meeting between the two cloaked figures. Ben Solo the visiting traveler and Odette, the fake singer. 

I can also see a slight confrontation happening between Poe and Kylo here too. Perhaps he thinks Odette's being bothered by a drunk or casanova, only for it to be the infamous Kylo Ren. 'Course this is optional. 

Also where exactly do you want to continue the story? between TFA and TLJ? or somewhere between those two periods in time. Also, also, I was thinking about this fascination he has for, Rey. I want there be some fledging intimacy between them. She of course-depending on where we're starting this at-either hates or wants to save him. Either way, she talks about [b]Kylo Ren[/b] a lot and Odette might find this annoying, seeing as she views Kylo as Ben and not the other way around. 

Just to let you know, I took Kylo to the south-sector so that I could comfortably maneuver him depending on your answers to the timeline question.
