I understand that. I'm just saying, if you're of that opinion and are forced into taking the time to write a sample at all, surely it's [i]less[/i] of a waste of time to write your first post out than to write out an "uninspired" sample and then a first post on top of that.

To each their own, I guess. We all have our own processes with these things.
