[@webboysurf] Spider-Man is definitely well known, he works with the Avengers, but not always. 

Heroes in general have been rising to prominence in the last 20 years, the Avengers went public with S.H.I.E.L.D. about 15 years ago. Spider-Man has been out and about for the last 10 years, half of which he’s been pretty famous for(thanks to Stark’s sponsorship). 

Peter Parker is now a senior in college.
