Name: Virum Bovaris Age: 27 Race: Lydurosi Plane of Origin: Lyduros. This plane is a center point between three other planes: Viish, Lo-Kor, and Bytyros. Lyduros is a place of ever-changing physics, which shift to match the laws of the planes around it depending on the moment in the cycle within which the four planes turn. These dimensions are also linked in such a way that you could simply walk between them given enough time, and as such each of the planes is brimming with life from the others. The people of Lyduros have developed the natural ability to decode languages and riddles mentally with no conscious input. Backstory: Virum comes from the plane of Lydurous and as such, has been gifted with the ability to decode languages and riddles simply by hearing a few sentences or listening to the riddle just once. This ability has made him invaluable to the crew of the Stone-Turner, who have used him to bridge language barriers with new species on two occasions thus far, though he has only been aboard for two months. The people of Lyduros have knowledge of the existence of other planes and from the moment he could read Virum has dreamed of seeing the stars. He had been searching for a way to do this for years, but finally gave up. It was two years later when the Stone-Turner showed up in his city and reignited his wanderlust. He dropped his family and friends, disappearing without a word with much internal conflict. He had simply decided this was his only chance and he took it, hoping those around him could understand his motivations. Notable equipment: A spyglass, a locket with an image of his mother inside of it, a dagger forged out of enchanted glass which he has no idea how to use. Notes: Virum is inept in combat, but he isnt afraid of danger. He will likely end up getting killed because of overestimating himself.
Other major characters: Captain Brovik, a Dwarf from an unknown plane. Very little is known about his past, but he is a hearty fighter with a passion for exploration and discovery. He is always the life of the party and is known to be loud, jolly, and happy. Sir Gorchek, a strange looking creature which resembles a centipede but much bigger. Standing up straight he is almost 9 feet tall and has sharp pincers on his mouth. Despite this he is capable of speech and is known to actually be a very enthralling conversationalist (that is if you can get past his appearance). He acts as the ships master at arms and will provide equipment to those who seek it. Jibb, a female gnome who acts as the lead mechanic aboard the Stone-Turner. She is known to be incredibly intelligent however quite quirky and hard to handle at times. She maintains the ship and the smaller crafts aboard.
