Heavy rain poured down making vision from a vehicle near impossible and the road too slippery to make a quick save, that evening a 19 year old girl was left brutally injured (but fortunately survived and recovered) and a young man lost his life leaving behind his pregnant wife and young child. Three months later Lachlan was born to his widowed mother. Despite growing up without his dad Lachlan would consider his life relatively normal. His mum had her own catering business but as the town was too small for her to have a consistent income from it she held down an accounting job also. Although the family of 3 weren't particularly moneyed they didn't have many troubles financially. As for Lachlan, not having a father was a way of life, just something that was. With little to do in the town, especially when you've lived there your whole life, he found his own way to enjoy himself and made a bit of a reputation for himself with his mischief.
