Here's my character! Her history is kind of heavy, so I apologise for that <3[@lopsided]

[sub]"fuck sugar, spice and all things nice. The best girls are made of sarcasm, wine and everything fine."[/sub]
Name| Alexis Wright Alex, Ali Age| 27 years old Gender| Female Current Residence| London, England Occupation| Journalist Sexuality| Bisexual

Appearance| Sharp, intelligent features to match a sharp, intelligent woman - Alex has always given the impression that she knows exactly what's going on, and what she should say next. Her hair has grown from the stylish Bob she had in highschool to long, shining mahogany locks and the ridiculous mini-skirts and crop tops have been switched to trendy designer clothes, usually of the expensive variety. Standing at a mere 5'4, she makes up for her lack of height with towering heels and a domineering persona. Her grey eyes are shadowed by thick, dark lashes usually coated with a thin layer of mascara and she has naturally arched brows that many girls envy these days. She is a minimalist when it comes to makeup - usually opting for just a coat of lipgloss and liner - yet she never leaves without at least looking somewhat put together. Personality| Alexis's personality has gone through quite the transformation since highschool. Where there used to be a self-loathing, insecure girl now stands a confident, surprisingly charismatic young woman . She always has an answer - most of the time it's a witty remark, or a sarcastic roll of the eyes. Most see Alex as the pessimistic, glass-half-empty kind of girl, whereas she would just say she's being realistic and that it would be a waste to fill up the glass when you haven't even finished it in the first place. She now cares little about what people think of her, and would change for no one but herself. Her smiles are rare, but genuine and her laugh is even more so Something that has not changed about Alex, however, is that she is loyal to a T and anyone close to her would claim that she is a precious friend to have. Her honesty should be treasured and her sense of humour appreciated. Although it may not seem so, she is rather sensitive and surprisingly understanding. She is usually the one people turn to with their problems, since her ability to keep a secret is renowned. Underneath the cynacism and the witty remarks, however, is a romantic soul. Break her trust and she'll never open up to you again - but show her kindness, and you've gained a priceless friend to cherish for as long as you can. Interests| Writing, particularly about those around her. Documentaries Horror films The outdoors Skills| - A wonderful film editor and writer, journalism was a job made for her - Surprisingly to most, she is very empathetic - Is a qualified lifeguard Hopes and Dreams| Journalism had always been Alex's dream job, and now that she has got it and is climbing up the industrial ladder, she has set her sights on other things. Her therapist has given her the goal of opening up to people, and to rekindle old relationships as well as start new ones. Fears| - Losing control of her life. - Resorting back to her old ways - Everyone judging her for who she used to be - Spiders. Ew. Coming from a wealthy, privileged family was only the first of many stepping stones that led her to the top of the food chain in highschool. Alex's mother was very young when she had her, young enough to still care about where Alex ended up in the typical highschool cliques. She went out of her way to make sure Alex always adhered to the latest fashion trends, or had the hottest boyfriend. As a result of this, Alex found herself as being the school's queen B, with her money, her looks and her bitchy personality. Although most of the girls she surrounded herself with loathed Sarah, she knew better than to dismiss this girl as the attention-seeking cow everyone seemed to label her as. At first, Alex only got to know Sarah outside of school, where she could avoid the scrutinizing gazes of some of her so-called friends at the time, and of course her mother. But soon she started to ditch her friends for Sarah and ignore the overbearing opinions of her mother - partying with her, drinking with her and gossiping with her. Oh, the gossiping! It was with Sarah that Alex found her true calling in life. The two of them were a notorious pair, learning every secret of pretty much every student in school and writing it down in one of those lock-and-key notebooks Alex had been given as a little girl. They filled that book and were on to the next one in a matter of weeks. They had so much power. Yet Sarah never let them use it, making Alex promise never to release the contents of that notebook until the day she died. What Alex noticed during her school years is that everyone changed around Sarah, including herself. She found herself wanting to be Sarah, wanting to impress her. She would accompany the girl to parties, where they would both drink their troubles away. She even took drugs with Sarah, something that she has always regretted. Not only did Sarah influence her, she incluenced Sarah - she encouraged her to let loose, have fun and 'live a Little'. Because of the pair's shenanigans, Alex got to see the dark side of Sarah a lot more than anyone else did. Although they weren't necessarily best friends, Alex did get to see the broken, vulnerable Sarah as much as a best friend would. Possibly even more. When Sarah left, Alex was broken. She was without her partner in crime, and now had to pay for all her wrong doings. She didn't care that the girl had left for New York - all the cared about was the fact that Sarah had abandoned her with a school that hated her and a serious alcohol problem. Her mother barely spoke to her, ashamed of thr girl her daughter had become. Alex didn't blame her. It was exactly two months after Sarah left that Alex slit her wrists in her bathroom at home. She did not die, but came close to it. She did not return to high school. After a ton of therapy, Alex emerged into the world as a brand new person - no longer the insecure girl that she once was. She poured her entire heart and soul into her journalism career, ending up on top. She moved to London for her job just over two years ago, and earns a lot of cash. Instead of spending it, hwoever, and living a lavish lifestyle like the old Alex would, she now puts it all into a savings account, ready for a time in which she needs it more. She only ever reached out to Sarah once after she left, right before her attempted suicide. It was a voicemail on the girl's phone, mostly consisting of her own sobs and accusations. She never got a reply. For a while, she hated Sarah. But then she missed her, and now she mourns her. Anything Else?| - Has cut off all contact with her mother, after a very heated argument. - Keeps a diary - Still keeps the two notebooks Sarah and her filled close by, although has never opened them.
