More recently, Paragon has delved into the food production sector, providing the means to producting foods for planets that are still under the process of terraforming or do not have the means of food self-reliance. Paragon employs all of those who come to their recruitment centers regardless of background or species. Depending on the skills of said new employee, the company assigns the new worker to a facility where they will begin their designated jobs right away. For pay, employees are expected work their designated minimum hours. After work, all employees are given access to a limitless amount of entertainment facilities and restaurants. At night, employees return to their homes, most of the time provided by the company for their service to it. Officially, the company is co-owned by a council known as the Group of 7. This Group functions both as the co-owners of the company and as the board of directors. Under them is a large group of Sector Overseers who supervise Regional Supervisors who in turn lead a group of managers. Most if not all leadership positions are under the control of a group of pale humanoids known as the Qeiz’ilk. These have also been known to function as Paragon’s private security force along with other races who also function as “mercenaries”. Products Paragon focuses on the creation of products and services aimed at the development of planets, economies, and populations. For the most part, Paragon produces: home appliances, machines and products related to agriculture, and other forms of food production, ship systems, such as navigation computers, targeting computers, among other ship electronics, mining machinery such as drills and other types of mining equipment, terraforming systems, including their own techniques. Aside from their specialties, Paragon has also moved into the ship and arms manufacturing sector. Despite it being a busy market, Paragon seeks to make a difference from its competitors with lower prices, superior quality, among other features. Weapons from explosives to small arms and ship weapons have also begun their production in Paragon’s factory worlds. Although not as big as their competitors, Paragon is seeking more customers beyond militaries, and selling weapons and ships to small militias or planetary governments. Headquarters Paragon is headquartered near the Outer Arm Rift in the planet of Zion, a former snow covered planet turned into a planet wide metropolis. The Zion System, now colloquially known as the “Paragon System” or simply “Zion” by some Overseers is a binary star system, with Zion being one of the middle most planets in the inner core of the Zion System. There are six other planets, three of which are gas giants, and the other three, including Zion being rocky planets. Paragon controls five other systems, three of which are completely dedicated to mining, ship construction, and other manufacturing facilities. Sacrocra and Toirilia are two planets in the Toririlia System which house Paragon’s most important and largest space drydocks. These are in the form of planetary rings which have the ability to construct ships of different sizes in the course of a two to three year period. Sacrora has become grand central for both the production of space vessels and their decommission when they are no longer in use. The planet below has been nearly turned into a scrap dump, millions of miles wide. Although it has contaminated the planet beyond repair, and its facilities are run by droids, the planet has given Paragon access to nearly limitless spare parts to hoth sell and use. Mugriuq is the capital of the Planetary Administration Commission or PDC. This body, overseen directly by the Group of 7 is a company with specialties in resource, business, security and population management. Members of the PDC are charged with providing political administration to planetary colonies both within the Paragon Corporation and even outside to those who may need their services. Its members use complex algorithms in order to determine the best course of action for a certain population. Through “taxes”, they are able to form a cohesive and efficient planetary government with the objective of increasing the quality of life, security and happiness of a respective population while at the same time maintaining the resources of the planet for future use if necessary. Other planets under the control of Paragon include the resort world of Erus. Here, customers from all over the Galaxy have access to a planet-wide resort run by the PDC Authority. From beautiful beaches, to hiking, to virtual reality among other attractions. The planet has everything one could need for a vacation to last a lifetime. Demographics: The only true “natives” of the Paragon Corporation are the Qeiz’ilk who are by their own words, locals to the company’s origin world of Zion. However, throughout the years the corporation has amassed a diverse workforce who carry out their duties in different fields. From agriculture, to factories, to office jobs, species tend to be allocated based on their skills and desires. While many recruiters use that species background to allocate a potential employee, it is rare to go against the wishes of a potential new worker. However, without prior work experience or studies in certain fields, Paragon recruiters tend to decide for the potential entries. Despite the large alien workforce of the company, the majority of employees in Paragon are Human. Military The Paragon Security Force or PSF is the private military force of the Paragon Corporation. Its main duties are to protect Paragon Corporation property and ensure the safety and well-being of all Paragon Corporation employees, executives, associates and visitors. Outfitted with the latest Paragon Arms Corporation weapons, uniforms and ships, the PSF is built around a defensive model meant less as an invasion force and more as deterrent against other militaries and criminals seeking to steal from the Corporation. The Paragon Security Force also has subdivisions for specialized tasks. These subdivisions are the Paragon Inquiry Agency and Paragon Police Force. History The origins of Paragon Corporation are as mysterious as the people who founded the company 400 years ago. In this span of time, Paragon acquired the resources and capital to expand beyond Zion and into the wider galaxy. Among employees of the company, many theories exist. Some have speculated that the strange Qeiz’ilk are responsible for creating the corporation, however, this has never been confirmed by any of them. Not to mention, that unlike other members of the Corporation, the Qeiz’ilk Overseers refer to the Group of 7 as “Masters” which has struck many theorists of the company’s origins as clear evidence that the Qeiz’ilk could be a client race of those who are part of the Group of 7. No further evidence exists to support this claim. Other theories include that Paragon is perhaps an arm of Valkyrie or even the Dominion, though no links between Paragon and the other two companies have ever been established and zero proof exists to support this claim. Regardless of the company’s origins, since its inception nearly 400 years ago, the company has done its best to keep an image of charity and goodwill toward its customers and employees. In fact, many have sought work in Paragon for the sole reason of being provided the means to live in a safe and secure environment. Most employees working in the corporations factories are people who have been picked up from the streets of their respective worlds and risen from poverty. Many doubt the true intentions of the corporation however, with many employees who spend more than two years living in Zion dissapearing without a trace after accepting something known as “The Contract.” To this day, nobody knows what this “contract” is, though many speculate that exceptional performance could grant you higher positions, even within the Group of 7. Many remain skeptical, though, with those who disappear sometimes reappearing to see family members or say their final goodbyes before vanishing again. Today, the Paragon Corporation remains a powerful force within the private sector of the Galaxy. Its leaders have ensured that Paragon obtains its own foothold in the Galaxy. To go beyond their competitors and set their own footprint upon the damaged universe. Even when some speculate about the true intentions of the Group of 7, many still remain oblivious of the internal politics of the corporation. Who is who or what is what doesn’t matter to those seeking a better life away from their poverty stricken former selves. Some simply want to escape… And Paragon is the answer…

The Qeiz'ilk are a mysterious race of pale humanoids apparently native to the planet of Zion. Under Paragon, all Qeiz'ilk seem to be relegated to positions of power. Most if not all of them are assigned to positions such as Overseers, security heads among other leadership roles. From comments made by Overseers themselves, the Qeiz'ilk seem to be completely loyal to the Group of 7 who they refer to as "Masters". Although many have refered to the Qeiz'ilk as a client species to whoever are the members of the Group of 7, no Qeiz'ilk has ever confirmed this. Many seem to avoid the topic altogether. Qeiz'ilk have sometimes been described as "unsettling" or even "terrifying" while others are seemingly "normal". This has led to many speculations on the true origins of the Qeiz'ilk or if some part of the brains is affected by some unknown process carried on by the company. Qeiz'ilk who act strangely or awkward as many employees say, are typically over 6 feet tall, muscular and most of the time hairless, including lacking any eyebrows. The eyes of these Qeiz'ilk tend to be grey or completely black in some occassions, with eyewitness accounts claiming that during their encounters, the Qeiz'ilk never blinked once. They can also be identified by their monotone near robotic voices. Finally, these Qeiz'ilk are also known for their undying loyalty to the company and for functioning as a police force looking for irregularities in the work force. Most encounters between employees and the "Ghost" Qeiz'ilk have been in their company issued homes, sometimes in the middle of the night. Conversations typically focus on the employee's activities for the day, something the company records, though the Ghosts insist on knowing from the employees mouth. Afterwards, they search their homes before departing. These Qeiz'ilk are also deployed seemingly to solve disputes between employees or even supervisors and during the occassional accident. They have also been known to stalk employees who have proved to be trouble in the past or for no reason at all... Unlike their Ghost counterparts, the Normal Qeiz'ilk resemble pale humanoids with white hair, slender bodies and bright eyes going from yellow, to green, to red, purple and blue. Strangely, darker skinned variants of the Normal Qeiz’ilk also exist. Despite the differences in skin and hair color, the Qeiz’ilk both Normal and Ghost share the characteristics of slim sometimes towering physiques, bright colored eyes going from jet black to purple and so on, and sharp teeth.
