I dunno, it depends on the style you're going for. I have small arcs that all fall into my story of "Revelations" but aren't going to take too long, but the overall long term game is gonna be long. IIRC [@Lord Wraith] is going to do a similar thing with Loki, where he re-appears every now and then until they have [i]the[/i] showdown.
