It showed in his face with a grin and his eyes shining with admiration. "Dang, that there quirk of yours would be really useful as a hero." He said as he patted his shoulder. "Seeing through solid objects? Pinpoint people? In saving the people, you're the most valuable one!" He had raised his voice, but not enough to disturb anyone else who was conversing around them. The admiration in his face matched that in his voice because it rang true. Sure, they could try to save anyone they could see, but they couldn't see within buildings unless they break inside. Any other person can do as much. But with Daiki's quirk, situations like that would be resolved faster and more accurately. This wasn't the quirk he was expecting to hear, especially for someone who wasn't confident with it. Rikuo rubbed the back of his head. "Guess I should tell you mine in return." He pulled his sleeves up, not wanting to dirty it with the paint that he'd be producing. He'd rather not go through the pain of removing it. Purple spots began to appear on his palm, but it was more than enough for his demonstration. The purple paint rose up from his hands and then he made a circular motion with his finger, and the purple paint followed. "It's called Artistic Dream and it allowed me to produce and manipulate paint." It as a very simple quirk, not at all complicated. A smirk played on his lips as Daiki twisted his words to tease him and he responded in kind. "Why not? They'd be welcoming any friend of mine." Though he laughed as well, knowing better than to delve too deep into the joke. He would rather not cut his friendship with the first person he talked to in Ishin so quickly. He then nodded. "Least I can do for my first friend here." When Daiki talked about his home town, he listened. But he only mentioned one place. An aquarium. He noted that. "I'll make sure to visit that place... someday." They were going to be really busy in Ishin so he wan't sure when he would actually get to that. But he will. Eventually. He listened to Daiki's tale, silent but his eyes on the male beside him. His fingers were tangled together. The topic was solemn, the story of his parents. Their death. But Rikuo offered no sympathy - or at least, not much. No 'I'm sorry for you loss'. He doen't need that. "No wonder you wanted to become a hero." Perhaps it was for revenge. Perhaps it was to help others who also lost their families to villains. But it was a reason. A noble one he would guess. "Yeah, they're probably real proud of you. Now 'ya need to graduate too." He gave him an encouraging smile and a nod.
