Penelope rolled her eyes at his comment as she moved to sit down besides him. “No.” She replied as she looked over at him. Though it was a bit dark, her gaze briefly scanned him over any sign of injuries. He seemed fine but the cut on his neck made her frown slightly. The thought of losing him bothered her much more than she would ever dare to admit, even though their time together was only temporary. Her gaze finally flickered back up to meet his gaze once more. “William’s being rather vigilant with us now so I had to wait for him to fall asleep.” She explained, casting a glance towards the sleeping knight. She kept her voice hushed and remained alert while she spoke to Crow, though she was more worried about one of her comrades waking up than an actual enemy finding them at the moment. “I didn’t mean what I said to William back there... you know that right?” She asked, finally addressing the main thing that was worrying her.
