Appearance Description Were you to remove his clothing, you would find a man of an average height whose fit physique betrays his expeditions into rough territory, something that contrasts heavily with his wealthy background. However, this is one of the very few physical traits he has that would separate him from a typical member of his class, other than his ability to give quite the intimidating glare when angered. Alistair has a fair skin tone and is considered by most to be extremely attractive. Back before he was taken from his original world, he'd always wear attire fitting a man with an abundance of wealth, but now that has changed. Personality As a man who was blessed twice in his original world with a wealthy upbringing and an abundance of talent, Alistair is quite arrogant, believing himself to be of a better quality than the beings unfortunate enough to have no been born him. He never speaks in ifs and maybes, always expecting things to go exactly how he desires and should they not, well it's someone else's fault and it displeases him quite a bit. However, this arrogance is about the only trait he shares with a stereotypical "noble". Unlike what some might expect, he has not the slightest interest in where or how someone was born, only what they've achieved. He highly values a hardworking, talented person over a wealthy, lazy man. An underdog would evoke respect from the man while a coward would earn his ire. He loathes the fact that a lot of the people he's been forced to interact with growing up were people riding on their heritage rather than their own merit, and is rather determined to ensure that he's never seen as such a person by those who get to know him. Another thing of note is his preference for freedom of choice. Unsurprisingly, he has no desire to be locked up, but he hates nothing more than to be restricted in his choices and naturally does not find himself especially fond of people who enforce laws, such as the police. His motto is to live life how he sees fit, taking what he desires and who he desires. That is not to say he's a criminal who goes around stealing and raping, only that he'll definitely make his interest in the who or what known and do his damndest to acquire it in a way that won't get him busted. He has a very casual approach to relationships with woman, and often doesn't stick around with people long enough to form any true bonds. Bio What is it that separates a child born to wealth from an average, middle-class citizen? In Alistair's case, there were many things. Things like what kind of toys he got. Things like what kind of field trips he was allowed to take. Things like the abundance of opportunities he was given. Things like the friends he wasn't allowed to make. Things like the freedom he was never granted. Sure, Alistair Archibald grew up getting everything he'd ever wanted whenever he asked for it. Better yet, he was exceptional in everything he ever did. Studies, sports, socializing. These all came natural to him. And as a young kid, he did not mind it as much. So what if he was told he was not allowed to play with the poor kid because there was not 'benefit' to him. So what if he just had to earn the top scores in his class or he'd be punished. He still got the coolest toys, he still was treated like a prince. And this would be fine for a while. Until he started wanting these things he couldn't have. Alistair Archibald began to grow into a teen and began realizing that he was nothing more than a prisoner to some sick game his parents were playing. That his parents had been a part of when they were children. Acting all prim and proper, throwing you family name around, restricting yourself to an elitist mindset... maybe other people enjoyed this, but Alistair did not. His few interactions with the 'commoners' as his parents would refer to them were far more interesting than anything his parents, his tutors, or his 'equals' ever spoke about. He'd much rather hear about taxidermy than horseriding and he wanted to join other people as they investigated the rumored 'ghost house'. But he was not allowed to. And there simply wasn't anything he could really do about it. Until he legally became an adult, that is. At that point, he gave into his desires, much to his parent's chagrin. He'd pretty much leave the house without a word and go out in the world, later being found in various predicaments. Having little tolerance to alcohol and being quite the hedonist, there was more than a single occasion where he found himself being chased by an angry boyfriend or father and left a girl crying. He was beaten up by others, beat up others, been robbed. What more is there to say? Other than the fact that he'd been taken from his own world and thrust into another one, but isn't that story just beginning?
