[b][color=c4df9b]Why did you want to become an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.?:[/color][/b] Joining SHIELD presented itself as a good opportunity to test all my training, obtain additional one and also experience exciting new things I wouldn't otherwise get the chance to do. And then there's also the doing good things part. Some people would say that doing good should be my main goal, but I'd like to disagree. Doing good should be something you do naturally if you are that sort of person, going out your way to do good is just trying to please others or your concious. That's why I joined SHIELD for my own future, a future filled with exciting missions, gunfights, punchfights and anything else that might raise my adrenaline while I also get paid for it.

[b][color=c4df9b]General History:[/color][/b] Valencia comes from a regular middle class family. Her family originally lived in the states, but moved to Eastern Europe just before she was born. They moved to Bulgaria because her father recieved a rather decent job offer for a factory branch that was being built there. Since living expenses in Bulgaria were a lot smaller than the states, it was a lot easier to live there and the salary he recieved served them just fine to live a comfortable life with his life and newborn daughter.

 Just as all children at early age, Val was incredibly energetic and preferred to be playing rather than studying. She was fond of all physical activities she could get her hands on form riding bikes, to soccer, basketball and pretty much anything else that was requiring high physical activity. As the years progressed, she remained rather unchanged, still preferring to spend her time playing soccer, riding bikes, climb trees and buildings nad overall while she kept decent enough grades, it was clear that she preferred physical activities to mental ones. At highschool she continued to keep decent grades, but frankly wasn't feeling the study. Instead when the national military academy came for a presentation during ehr second year, she found out that there was a way to mostly skip high school, only going for the mandatory exams and instead directly enter the military academy. She was rather attracted to that idea since the military school seemed like a place where she'd get to learn more interesting and practical things such as FIRING WEAPONS and fighting. Valencia was really starting to get attracted to the life on the extreme.

 At the Military academy, she more or less crushed all competition in the face of her fellow students. She was always first in practical exams, her grades on the non practical subjects while not the best all the time also kept her at leading positions, but overall she had the best grades from all students of her year. Her physical prowess was just too impressive and she was not shy about it. Naturally such performance attracts the eyes of powers so by the time she was in her final year, she recieved the invitation from shield. She was rather surprised, but hopped on the band wagon right away just like how she had done with the military academy in the first place. Once she finished one military academy she moved to the next. She didn't even consider her options and joined the Operations Branch without as much as a second thought.

 Val likes Emilia quite a lot actually. Their friendship slowly blossomed over the years at the academy. Since Val is a slow person to trust people, it took a while and more than a few punch ups on the training mats, but overall she eventually started to trust the other's spirit and the general attitude towards things. Their mutual like for physical activities also helped. And Val got to pull her into some adventures like bungee jumping.

 Valencia finds Maria to be a good friend. They hit it off rather well and the loyalty Maria tends to display makes Val like her all the more. Since finding real friends for Val is quite a hard and long process, any loyal friend she locates is worth their weight in gold. Frankly if Maria breaks a rule, Val will be sure to try to bail her out of trouble in any decent way possible. Loyalty deserves loyalty.

 Val doesn't really like Tinley all that much. Since both of them are more or less similar in skills and with their driven headstrong personalities they just clash. While Val doesn't really see Tinlay like an enemy or a rival really, she does find the fact she's seen as a threat amusing and likes to stoke the flames of rivalry for the fun of it and hse doens't really trust Tinley all that much personally. Thus their relationship tends to be on the tense side of things.
