Dnias was born of unknown parents. He was raised by a man named Bruns, who found Dnias as an infant on the streets of Akmad City. At the age of seven, Dnias discovered his taste for killing when he murdered Bruns's partner for adding too much salt to his lunch. For reason yet to be established, Bruns did not forsake his adopted son for such an act of brutality. He rather chose to support the child’s nature and spent the following decade nurturing Dnias’s bloodlust, and teaching him how to avoid capture from those who sought vengeance for his transgressions.  

At age seventeen, Dnias left his home on the planet Ushar to commence his life as a Bloodletter; the Ushar name given to those who are born with a thirst for blood and murder. However, Dnias’s bloodlust could not be contained to a single world, he soon found the necessity to expand his palate to a greater diversity of life. When Dnias was still just nineteen, an opportunity to achieve this dark longing presented itself in the form of Cain, a lone Galactic Traveler visiting the Ushar world. Believing he had murdered Cain, Dnias claimed his Vector Pathol and has since endeavored to satisfy his unquenchable thirst throughout the universe.
