Penelope turned her head as Lorelle poked into the room. “Oh, thank you.” She said with small dip of her head. Lorelle disappeared once more and Penelope focused on the gaze. She crossed her arms as she swept her gaze over the two briefly. “Well, I’d yell at you for getting drunk but I suppose your hangovers are punishment enough.” The knight said with a huff. “Sorry Penelope.” Hartley said innocently with an apologetic look as he held his head. “It would have been rude to refuse the ale though.” “Yeah well.. whatever.” Penelope said a bit awkwardly. The knight walked over to the bag she had taken from the wagon and rummaged around in it until pulling out the canteen of water that she had taken. She looked to Crow, blushed and then quickly turned towards Hartley to hand the water over to him instead. “Here. It’s still got some water in it.” She said. Get it together already! He’s going to think you’re acting weird! She told herself, wishing she could just ignore everything that happened the night before. Every time she had tried to face him, she was reminded of his flirting, the feeling of his lips brushing against her neck, being in his arms and the fact that she had kissed his cheek. It was definitely going to be a long day for her. “Thanks. You’re a life-saver.” Hartley said gratefully as he took the flask. He took a couple gulps of the water before finally passing it over to Crow. Penelope threw the strap of the bag over her shoulder and began to pick up her make shift bed to put away. Lorelle and Malcom had been kind to them and she needed something to do to distract herself. “You’re welcome. I’ll pack up the beds and you two can nurse your hangovers a little longer.” She said waving for them to get off the beds. “I don’t want to spend much more time here.”
